P2 Badge Skip date headings when deriving daily chunk context

normalizeDailyHeading tries to suppress the top-of-file date heading by testing DAILY_MEMORY_FILENAME_RE, but that regex requires a .md suffix, so markdown headings like # 2026-04-05 are never filtered out. As a result, daily snippets from files without subsection headers get prefixed with the date (2026-04-05: ...), which adds repetitive noise and can truncate useful text under the 280-char cap; this is a regression from the previous behavior where headings were ignored.

Greptile Summary

This PR introduces chunked ingestion of daily memory notes into the dreaming pipeline, grouping nearby lines into coherent snippets (by section heading, list-vs-paragraph kind, and character budget) instead of staging every line individually. It also adds a fingerprint-based change-detection layer (daily-ingestion.json) that skips unchanged files on subsequent heartbeat runs — a meaningful efficiency win.

The chunking logic, cap arithmetic, and atomic checkpoint writes (writeDailyIngestionState via temp-file rename) are structurally sound. However, there is a logic bug in normalizeDailyHeading:

  • Bug: The guard DAILY_MEMORY_FILENAME_RE.test(heading) uses /^(\\d{4}-\\d{2}-\\d{2})\\.md$/, which requires a .md suffix. Heading text extracted from a top-level daily line like # 2026-04-05 is "2026-04-05" — no .md — so the guard never fires. The date string becomes the active heading and appears as a prefix on any snippet ingested from top-level content (content not under a sub-heading). Tests do not surface this because all fixtures use sub-headings or loose toContain() assertions.
  • Style: Minor redundant Math.max(1, Math.max(files.length, 1)) on the perFileCap line — the inner call already guarantees ≥ 1.

Confidence Score: 3/5

Mergeable with caution — the chunking and checkpointing changes are solid but the heading filter has never worked as intended, causing date strings to appear as snippet prefixes for any top-level daily-note content not under a sub-heading.

The core chunking and fingerprinting logic is correct for the tested paths. However, the heading filter was explicitly designed to suppress the date H1 from becoming an active heading, and it silently fails because the regex requires .md which headings never have. Real user notes with top-level content (no sub-headings) will produce date-prefixed snippets — unintended behavior not caught by the current test suite.

**Date heading filter never matches**

`DAILY_MEMORY_FILENAME_RE` is `/^(\d{4}-\d{2}-\d{2})\.md$/` — it requires a `.md` suffix. When the parser encounters a daily-note title like `# 2026-04-05`, it extracts `"2026-04-05"` (no `.md`), so `DAILY_MEMORY_FILENAME_RE.test("2026-04-05")` returns `false` and the guard never fires. The date string is then set as `activeHeading` in `buildDailySnippetChunks`, meaning any content that appears directly under the top-level date heading — without an intervening sub-heading — is prefixed with the date string (e.g. `"2026-04-05: Move backups to S3 Glacier."`). This is almost certainly unintended: the date is already encoded in the file path, and this prefix pollutes the ingested snippet text.

The existing tests do not catch the regression because every fixture either has a sub-heading that overwrites `activeHeading` before content is reached, or uses loose `toContain()` assertions that pass even when the unexpected date prefix is present.

Suggested fix — match bare date strings instead of filenames:

```suggestion
  if (!heading || /^\d{4}-\d{2}-\d{2}$/.test(heading)) {
```

How can I resolve this? If you propose a fix, please make it concise.

P2 Badge Ignore YYYY-MM-DD headings when setting daily chunk context

normalizeDailyHeading tries to suppress the top-level daily date heading by testing DAILY_MEMORY_FILENAME_RE, but that regex only matches values ending in .md. Markdown headings like # 2026-04-05 therefore pass through as context, so files without subsection headers now emit snippets prefixed with the date (for example 2026-04-05: ...), which adds noise and consumes part of the 280-character evidence budget.

* feat(bedrock-mantle): add IAM credential auth via @aws/bedrock-token-generator

Mantle previously required a manually-created API key (AWS_BEARER_TOKEN_BEDROCK).
This adds automatic bearer token generation from IAM credentials using the
official @aws/bedrock-token-generator package.

Auth priority:
1. Explicit AWS_BEARER_TOKEN_BEDROCK env var (manual API key from Console)
2. IAM credentials via getTokenProvider() → Bearer token (instance roles,
   SSO profiles, access keys, EKS IRSA, ECS task roles)

Token is cached in memory (1hr TTL, generated with 2hr validity) and in
process.env.AWS_BEARER_TOKEN_BEDROCK for downstream sync reads.

Falls back gracefully when package is not installed or credentials are
unavailable — Mantle provider simply not registered.

When an exec session is backgrounded (background: true), the owning

handler's emitUpdate() closure, however, kept invoking opts.onUpdate(),
delivering tool_execution_update events to a listener whose active run
had already ended. This surfaced as an unhandled rejection and crashed
the gateway process.

Guard emitUpdate() with a session.backgrounded || session.exited check
so that post-background output is still captured via appendOutput() but
no longer forwarded to the (now-stale) agent-loop callback.

- pnpm-lock.yaml: keep our platform-channel + upstream's qa-channel/qa-lab
- app-render.ts: add upstream session-key imports, deduplicate agentLogoUrl
- control-ui-bootstrap.ts: keep our branding (resolveUiBrand, title, agentId)
- control-ui-bootstrap.test.ts: keep our test expectations + upstream null checks
- schema.base.generated.ts: keep our Firecrawl + profile config entries
- schema.labels.ts: keep our Firecrawl + profile labels

Includes CVE-2026-33579 fix (callerScopes in /pair approve handler).

* feat(memory): add Bedrock embedding provider for memory search

Add Amazon Bedrock as a native embedding provider for memory search.
Supports Titan Embed Text v1/v2 and Cohere Embed models via AWS SDK.

- New embeddings-bedrock.ts: BedrockRuntimeClient + InvokeModel
- Auth via AWS default credential chain (same as Bedrock inference)
- Auto-selected in 'auto' mode when AWS credentials are detected
- Titan V2: configurable dimensions (256/512/1024), normalization
- Cohere: native batch support with search_query/search_document types
- 16 new tests covering all model types, auth detection, edge cases

Closes openclaw#26289

* feat(bedrock-mantle): add IAM credential auth via @aws/bedrock-token-… (openclaw#61563)

* feat(bedrock-mantle): add IAM credential auth via @aws/bedrock-token-generator

Mantle previously required a manually-created API key (AWS_BEARER_TOKEN_BEDROCK).
This adds automatic bearer token generation from IAM credentials using the
official @aws/bedrock-token-generator package.

Auth priority:
1. Explicit AWS_BEARER_TOKEN_BEDROCK env var (manual API key from Console)
2. IAM credentials via getTokenProvider() → Bearer token (instance roles,
   SSO profiles, access keys, EKS IRSA, ECS task roles)

Token is cached in memory (1hr TTL, generated with 2hr validity) and in
process.env.AWS_BEARER_TOKEN_BEDROCK for downstream sync reads.

Falls back gracefully when package is not installed or credentials are
unavailable — Mantle provider simply not registered.

* fix: stop emitting post-background exec updates (openclaw#61627) (thanks @openperf)

* fix(exec ): stop emitting tool updates after session is backgrounded

When an exec session is backgrounded (background: true), the owning
agent run resolves its tool-call promise and may finish. The stdout
handler's emitUpdate() closure, however, kept invoking opts.onUpdate(),
delivering tool_execution_update events to a listener whose active run
had already ended. This surfaced as an unhandled rejection and crashed
the gateway process.

Guard emitUpdate() with a session.backgrounded || session.exited check
so that post-background output is still captured via appendOutput() but
no longer forwarded to the (now-stale) agent-loop callback.

Backend changes for session sidebar feature:
- session.ts: create compound key entry for old session when /new triggered
- agent.ts: pass preserveHistory=true to session reset
- session-reset-service.ts: add file reuse optimization for preserved sessions
- types.ts: add previousSessionKey field to SessionEntry
- session-utils.ts: add compound key support in session key resolution

This enables the UI to show previous sessions in sidebar while
preserving complete chat history for archived sessions.
