What is your reason for making the parent required versus optional?

The parent parameter is always passed in as currently used and I'm not familiar enough with Qt to really understand what is implied when it's not null and whether that's reasonable in this case or not. But, one can always pass a null pointer explicitly anyways, if that is desired. It doesn't need to be a default constructor.

I'm going to merge this in but not that part. parent = 0 is a Qt standard
and I'd rather be able to do T2Map() instead for any reason in the future.

This has been rebased so it merges cleanly again. |
T2DMap currently has two default constructors, remove one.
