World Asthma Day 2025

Welcome to #AsthmaMay 2025!

In line with GINA’s theme for World Asthma Day, GAAPP has launched its 2025 campaign, “Access to Treatment for All.” As part of this initiative, GAAPP is unveiling a global asthma care access map, designed to visually represent how countries perform in terms of asthma care.

The map rates each country based on key indicators such as mortality, access to treatment, and disease prevalence, drawing from validated medical sources including peer-reviewed journals and studies conducted by regional or national medical societies. While this map is not intended to serve as a scientific research tool, it is a powerful resource for patients, caregivers, and advocates. It offers an opportunity to understand where their country stands, contribute additional insights where possible, and most importantly, use the information as an awareness and advocacy tool to push for better asthma care and equitable treatment access worldwide.
