An online resource to help you in your chronic urticaria journey
Chronic urticaria (or chronic hives) affects about 1 percent of the international population and twice as many women as men. At GAAPP, we believe that all people with chronic urticaria should actively share in decisions regarding their treatment and how their condition is managed. We therefore created this online tool to help you document our symptoms, their impact, and what you value in the treatment and management of your condition.
It will take you about 10 minutes to answer the questions within the tool. The system will then create a report of your answers that you can email to yourself or others. This report can support conversations and decision-making with your doctors and family members and can help them better understand your experience with urticaria.
Data policy: All data you provide is protected and stored securely. We may use anonymized and aggregated data for educational, research, and reporting purposes. No individual responses will be identifiable.
We encourage you to create an account to save your progress and results of the tool for future reference. We know some individuals may not want to create an account. In that case, you can use the tool as a guest user, but the tool will not save your answers for later reference.
Your email address will be shared exclusively with GAAPP. We may reach out to you with relevant communications, but we are committed to ensuring you will never receive unsolicited emails. You can opt out of GAAPP communications at any time by using the ‘Unsubscribe’ link located at the bottom of our emails.
