The RAID Nitrox Plus by FS Dive Coach was created to accompany you in a deeper evolution. Here, Nitrox is the medium, but the true journey lies in how you relate to yourself, the environment, and every decision you make underwater. Because when you change your way of being, your entire diving experience changes with you.

This program is designed for certified divers who feel the need to move forward with purpose, regardless of the configuration they use (single tank, sidemount, or twins). It is for people seeking excellence through calmness, consistency between what they know and how they act, and a solid foundation to keep growing.

Furthermore, this course is fully aligned with the new RD 1188/2025, integrating its focus on safety, responsibility, and prevention from a modern, human perspective.

It’s not just about complying with a regulatory framework, but about internalizing it and making it a natural way of diving. Throughout the course, you will develop resources that reinforce your safety, elevate your enjoyment, and help you build a solid personal base that also boosts your professional growth. Because diving better always starts with being better—both inside the water and within yourself.

Prerequisites

  • Be at least 18 years old.

  • Hold RAID Open Water 20 and RAID Deep 40 certification (or equivalent) or hold RAID Explorer 30 or RAID Advance 35 certification issued by a recognized international organization.

  • Hold RAID Nitrox certification or equivalent, issued by a recognized international organization.

  • Have a minimum of 20 logged dives or 10 hours of open circuit bottom time.

  • If the course is conducted in Sidemount or Twinset, be certified as RAID Sidemount or RAID Twins (or equivalent), issued by a recognized international organization.

    • Divers wishing to carry an additional cylinder must have a minimum of 5 dives in their chosen configuration before adding a third cylinder.

  • Medical Statement.

  • Valid mandatory diving and accident insurance.

Course Schedule

The RAID Nitrox Plus Course consists of 2 online theory sessions and 4 days of in-person training where theory sessions combined with dives will take place, 2 confined water sessions, and 4 open water dives.

Online Session (5 hours)

  • Theory 1:

    • Course presentation.

    • Physics and physiology review of Nitrox diving.

  • Theory 2:

    • Emotional intelligence applied to diving.

Day 1 (8 hours)

  • Theory 3:

    • Stage cylinder and stage regulator configuration workshop.

    • Gas switch workshop.

  • Practice 1:

    • Rescue skills.

    • SMB (Surface Marker Buoy) deployment.

  • Theory 4:

    • Gas analysis and labeling.

    • Mindful planning of deco dives.

    • Decompression theory.

    • Operational differences between air, standard Nitrox, and Nitrox Plus.

Day 2 (8 hours)

  • Practice 2 & 3:

    • Confined water dives: Navigation, gas switch, SMB deployment, ascents and descents, rescue skills…

Day 3 (8 hours)

  • Theory 5:

    • Briefing.

    • Mental control and breathing exercises during the dive.

  • Dive 1: Descent to 15 meters.

  • Dive 2: Descent to 20 meters.

    • Post-dive emotional and technical debriefing.

Day 4 (8 hours)

  • Dive 3: Descent to 30 meters.

  • Theory 6:

    • Post-dive emotional and technical debriefing.

    • Next dive planning.

  • Dive 4: Descent to 35 meters.

    • Final emotional and technical debriefing.

Price:

    Special offer: Nitrox Course €49 (if you don’t have RAID Nitrox certification or equivalent and you do it at the same time).
    If you are a certified Nitrox diver and want to do a full review, you can do it for free.

What’s next after this course?

Once you have successfully completed the course, you will be able to dive with your buddy using Nitrox mixtures up to 50%, descend to 40 meters, and perform 10-minute deco stops. Additionally, you will recognize how stress, pressure, and emotion influence your decisions underwater.
