FacebookDiscovery is an instant messaging program that allows you to chat with your Facebook friends directly from your desktop. You simply enter your Facebook login details, such as e-mail address and password, and you are ready to chat. The program will show the online contacts and you can chat with them by simply double clicking on any of them.

What is great about the program is that you can set your status as idle, invisible or online. With the invisible status, you can view the contacts that are online, but they cannot see you (you cannot chat with them either, though). You can also instantly change your Facebook status by entering a message in the What's on your mind? field. The program can also be docked and minimized to the system tray when you are not using it. What is more, from the settings menu you can customize alerts, contact list, instant messaging options, sounds and cache options.
