The open payments space is under close scrutiny from regulators across the globe as they seek to ensure full compliance for fraud detection and AML. If you are a service provider (for account information or payment initiation) you need to demonstrate compliance as new regulations come into force. Estafet developed a flexible, automated customer on-boarding solution for Orwell that meant it could design new and independent processes and deploy these to a cloud environment. The solution recorded all the decisions made during onboarding, creating a reliable and adapted system that integrated with core systems and external services.

Capital One had deployed middleware within its acquisition platform, API platform and the call-centre customer experience application. As Capital One gained more customers, performance became a problem. Estafet reviewed Capital One’s IT estate and found performance and architectural solutions which enabled them to manage this increased load without having to invest in more hardware.

Close Brothers was suffering performance problems and crashes with one of their web-based applications used by both the Credit Control team and the Commercial team. With no idea what was causing the problem, they asked Estafet for short and long-term fixes for the application. We identified the problem by observing how the teams used the application, and which user flows ran counter to the intended design. We then recommended short-term behavioural changes, and medium term architecture improvements to eliminate the problem.

Sometimes customers just need to know that their idea is going to work. The Start-up Loans Company wanted to integrate Salesforce with Experian. In two days, our consultant not only showed it was possible, but built a proof-of-concept and trained in-house staff on how these patterns would extend their other enterprise systems.
