CoreFTP is an easy to use application for transferring files up and down user PC and FTP web servers.
The program allows user to compress the files to be transferred for saving time and increasing security during the communication period. It supports SFTP and HTTPS, and it is compliant with HIPAA security rules.
The user interface is very graphical and useful. The application can work in ASCII mode, binary mode or directly in Auto mode. User can manage all the files and folders in both ends (local and remote) of the FTP connections, rename, delete, cut (or copy) and paste, drag and drop files, etc. in the local user PC as well as at the remote site up the web.
It allows user to perform site to site transfers: files and folders can be moved from one site to another with simple operations.
The application is capable to resume interrupted or broken transfers, right at the point they were stopped. The user can stop any transfer anytime and resume it later on. After a failed transfer detected, the program starts an auto retry operation to keep on transferring data in any direction.
The program controls the connection bandwidth for getting best performance. It includes a 'keep alive' function for staying connected even when there's no data traffic. Also, a direct 'ping' can be sent from the user interface.
User can integrate the application controls into the local browser for making easier the transfer operations. The built in task scheduler enables the user to decide when to transfer files in unattended mode (without any user interaction). more
