As its name suggests, Collage Maker is intended to create photo collages. The application is quite easy to use; so, if you are a beginner, it can be an alternative to the use of more sophisticated (and logically more complicated) tools. Unfortunately, the program’s interface does not look very attractive to me.

The program allows you to customize your project by setting a series of parameters. Thus, you can decide on whether you want to send your collage by e-mail, print it at home, set it as wallpaper or process it at a photo center. Moreover, you can use custom-made parameters, such as width, length, paper size and page orientation. Some templates are available offline right after installing the program. Moreover, you can download more templates from the developer’s site. I regret to say that I did not like the available templates very much.

Once you have started your project, either from scratch or a template, you can edit all the objects in it. Any user familiar with working with objects and layers will find no difficulty at doing this. Various types of objects, such as pictures, photos and text, are available. Besides you can customize the color palette to change the general look and feel of the project. It also allows placing customized stamps onto photographs. Finally, there is a feature, called “autocollage”, which can create a collage out of a group of photos.

All in all, Collage Maker has the advantage of being very easy to use, but I must warn you that the results could disappoint you a little bit.
