Chill Therapy

What makes Chill By Nette's Therapy approach unique?

Chill Therapy is unique in the way it integrates psychotherapy, counselling, nervous system awareness, and clinical hypnotherapy — allowing the work to support both the conscious and subconscious layers of change.

It brings together depth and gentleness, creating a space where your mind, body, emotions, relationships, and inner world can be met with deep curiosity and care.

Rather than following a fixed formula, each session is shaped around what you need in that season — whether that is emotional support, clarity, stabilisation, deeper pattern work, relational processing, or guided subconscious work.

At its heart, Chill Therapy is grounded in a person-centred philosophy that sees you as inherently whole. It is not about forcing insight or fixing who you are, but creating a steady, compassionate space where healing, integration, and embodied change can unfold at a pace that honours you.

Psychotherapy and counselling are usually conversation-based. We explore your emotions, patterns, relationships, life experiences, and inner world through a safe and reflective therapeutic relationship.

Clinical hypnotherapy works more directly with the subconscious mind and nervous system through guided relaxation, imagery, therapeutic suggestion, and inner resource work.

Both pathways support the same deeper intention: helping you come home to yourself with more clarity, steadiness, and inner safety, while supporting you in working through emotional patterns, relational dynamics, behavioural challenges, and meaningful personal or relational goals.

Sessions are available in-person or online, and may be conducted in English or Mandarin.

Both psychotherapy/counselling and clinical hypnotherapy can support similar challenges. The difference lies in how the sessions are experienced.

You do not need to know everything before starting. Some clients start with psychotherapy because they want to talk, reflect, and process. Others choose clinical hypnotherapy because they feel drawn to a more guided, subconscious, or relaxation-based approach. Many clients also find an integrative blend of both approaches helpful.

We can also discuss what feels most aligned based on your needs, goals, readiness, and what you are currently moving through in our first session.

Yes. Some clients work mainly through psychotherapy, some through clinical hypnotherapy, and some through an integrative combination of both at different stages.

The approach can be adjusted along the way depending on what feels supportive, safe, and relevant to the work.

Chill Therapy, whether through psychotherapy/ counselling, clinical hypnotherapy, or an integrative combination of both, supports healing, growth, and deeper self-understanding — helping you reconnect with your inner sense of safety, steadiness, and authentic Self.

Therapy may support you in navigating common emotional, relational, and nervous-system challenges such as anxiety, stress, low mood, grief, life transitions, self-doubt, relationship struggles, trauma imprints, burnout, or feeling stuck or disconnected.

It may also support you in:

  • Building healthier ways of responding to stress, conflict, or self-doubt
  • Communicating your needs and boundaries with more clarity
  • Noticing triggers and patterns before reacting automatically
  • Making decisions from a more grounded and self-trusting place
  • Strengthening self-worth, self-trust, and emotional regulation
  • Reconnecting with parts of yourself that may have felt hidden, protected, or disconnected
  • Finding greater clarity, meaning, and alignment in your life
  • Supporting a deeper connection between mind, body, emotions, and Self

Some clients may leave a session feeling lighter, calmer, clearer, or more grounded. Other times, therapy may bring up deeper emotions, questions, or patterns that need time and care to process and integrate.

No. You do not need to be in crisis to begin therapy.

Some people start therapy because they are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low, or stuck. Others come because they want to understand themselves more deeply, navigate a life transition, explore recurring patterns, or reconnect with a steadier sense of self.

Therapy can be a supportive space not only for crisis, but also for reflection, personal growth, meaning-making, integration, and deeper self-connection. You are welcome to begin wherever you are, and use the space in a way that feels supportive for you.

Psychotherapy and counselling sessions are usually conversation-based. We may explore what matters to you — whether that is your emotions, relationships, life experiences, recurring patterns, inner conflicts, or simply what is happening in your life right now.

Sessions may include reflective dialogue, emotional processing, parts work, somatic awareness, mindfulness, and practical integration. Sometimes the work is about insight. Other times, it may be about stabilisation, grief, clarity, emotional support, or slowly integrating deeper patterns over time.

Where appropriate, sessions may include simple practices or reflective exercises you can use between sessions to support reflection, regulation, integration, and daily life application.

Feel free to read more about clients’ experiences on the testimonial page.

Clinical hypnotherapy sessions usually begin with a conversation about what you would like support with, followed by a guided relaxation process.

You remain aware and in control throughout. The process may include imagery, metaphor, therapeutic suggestion, safe place visualisation, inner resource work, emotional processing, or confidence-building, depending on your needs and goals.

Where appropriate, sessions may also include simple practices or reflective exercises you can use between sessions to support reflection, regulation, integration, and daily life application.

Feel free to read more about our clients’ experiences on the testimonial page.

No. Clinical hypnotherapy is not stage hypnosis.

You remain aware, in control, and actively involved throughout the process. You can speak, pause, open your eyes, or stop at any point. The work is collaborative, gentle, and paced with safety in mind.

We’ll start with an introduction where we discuss your goals, concerns, and what brings you here. It’s also an opportunity for you to get a feel of me, share your expectations, and begin building the trust that is central to your therapeutic journey.

I’ll guide you through what the process might look like, answer any questions, and together we’ll explore whether psychotherapy & counselling, clinical hypnotherapy, or a blend of both feels most supportive for you.

For first-time clients, I recommend scheduling a 90-minute psychotherapy/counselling session. This gives us more space to understand your needs, cover meaningful ground, and create a strong foundation for your journey.

This depends on your needs, goals, and the depth of work you are seeking.

Some clients come for a focused single session or a few sessions around a specific concern. Others continue for short-term support over a few weeks or months. Some choose mid-term or longer-term work when exploring deeper emotional patterns, trauma imprints, relationships, identity, or sustained inner change.

Sessions often begin weekly to build safety, trust, continuity, and momentum. Over time, this may shift into bi-weekly or maintenance sessions, depending on your needs, capacity, and stage of the work.

We will review the process together along the way and adjust the rhythm collaboratively, so the therapeutic work feels safe, supportive, and sustainable for you.

Yes. For clients who have completed at least one initial session and would like more consistency, continuity, and depth, 6-session and 10-session pathways are available at a package rate.

A single session can be a focused starting point for clarity, support, or experiencing the therapeutic space before deciding what feels right for you.

Session pathways are discussed collaboratively based on your needs, readiness, and therapeutic goals. Therapy can also pause, continue, or shift in rhythm depending on your needs, readiness, and season of life.

You’re welcome to reach out directly for more details.

Chill Therapy may not be the right fit if you are in an acute crisis, require immediate medical or psychiatric intervention, or need urgent risk management. In these situations, crisis services, a hospital, or a psychiatrist may be more appropriate.

This approach may also not be the best fit if you are looking solely for quick symptom relief, direct advice, or a highly prescriptive, problem-solving approach.

Chill Therapy may be better suited for those who are open to reflective, collaborative, and depth-oriented work at a pace that honours safety, readiness, and integration.

As Chill By Nette also creates public content, I maintain a clear boundary between therapy and content spaces. Engaging with my social media content, workshops, or LIVE sessions does not form a therapeutic relationship.

Chill Carnival

What exactly is a Chill Carnival?

Chill Carnival is a curated, small-group rest and reconnection experience by Chill By Nette. It is a guided 90-minute space designed to support you in slowing down, settling your nervous system, and returning to yourself through relaxation, inner safe space visualisation, and quiet reflection.

While a Chill Carnival draws on therapeutic tools and principles it is not a formal therapy session. It is designed as a guided rest and reconnection experience to slow down, reflect, and return to yourself.

Chill Carnival is for anyone who feel the need to pause, reset, and reconnect inwardly. You don’t need to have a specific issue. It can be especially supportive if you’ve been feeling:

  • tired, overwhelmed, or disconnected
  • “fine” on the outside, but needing space on the inside
  • drawn to rest, reflection, or deeper self-connection

No prior experience with therapy or personal growth work is needed—just a willingness to show up with openness and curiosity.

Please note: This space is not suitable for individuals currently in acute crisis or experiencing severe emotional dysregulation that may require more intensive therapeutic intervention or stabilisation. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out via whatsapp for a gentle check-in before signing up.

You will be gently guided through:

  • relaxation and grounding
  • inner safe space visualisation
  • reflecting on your rest and nervous system needs

There may also be light sharing (optional) and integration, but the experience is designed to feel calm, spacious, and unhurried.

Read what previous participants have to share here. 🙂

No. There is no pressure to share or speak. Sharing is option and consent-based. You are welcome to participate in your own way.

That’s completely okay. Your inner safe space does not need to be clear or visual. It can be a feeling, a sense, or even just a moment of ease. You will be guided by a trained and qualified practitioner. There is no right or wrong way to experience it.

Ultimately, it depends on your personal preference, needs, and where you are on your journey.

A therapy session may be more suitable if you:

  • Prefer highly individualized & personalised support that’s deeply attuned to your unique history, patterns, and goals
  • Wish to explore deeper relational dynamics within a private, confidential and safe container
  • Are currently navigating emotional distress, trauma, or challenges that require deeper, more consistent support
  • Would like a private space to explore, process, and integrate your inner world at a pace that feels right for you
  • Are seeking a more personalised therapeutic container that can meet you exactly where you are—holistically and intuitively

Chill Carnival may be more appropriate if you:

  • Seeking a gentle, experiential space to reconnect with yourself and others
  • Open to personal growth in an intimate group setting
  • Looking for a soulful pause, insight, or emotional nourishment in a warm and held space
  • In a relatively stable place emotionally, and not currently in crisis

While both can be deeply supportive, therapy tends to be more individualised, and depth-oriented, whereas Chill Carnival offers a group experience. Chill Carnivals can feel therapeutic, but it is not a substitute for formal therapy. It’s a complementary experience that supports one’s inner work.

You’re welcome to choose what feels right for you—or explore both! 💛

Yes, you are welcome to attend Chill Carnival sessions while seeing me for therapy. The experience can complement your personal journey, offering a different space for rest, reflection, and reconnection.

Anything shared in your individual therapy sessions remains completely confidential and will not be brought into the group. As Chill Carnival is a group experience, participants are encouraged to honour each other’s privacy. At the same time, as with any group setting, complete confidentiality cannot be fully guaranteed.

Absolutely! You are welcome to join a Chill Carnival even if you’ve participated in one before. Each session features different participants, which brings a unique energy and dynamic to the experience. Each session provides a unique opportunity for self-exploration and growth.

Photos or short video snippets may occasionally be taken for documentation or promotional purposes. These will always be captured mindfully and in a way that does not identify participants, unless explicit consent has been given.

The standard rate for Chill Carnival is SGD 85 per session.

You can join the waitlist by filling out the form here. Once the next round of Chill Carnival opens, you’ll be contacted to confirm your spot.

Waitlist participants will receive first access before any remaining spaces are opened to the public. Spaces are offered on a first come, first served basis.

A payment request will be sent to you once your slot is available. Your spot will be confirmed after payment is made via PayNow.

Payments are non-refundable once confirmed, as this helps to honor the space and commitment for all participants.

However, if you’re unable to attend a session, please inform at least 48 hours in advance, and you will be rescheduled for an upcoming round of your choice. (subject to availability)
