U.S. Pilots to rally at WH, urge blockage of export of White Collar jobs UPDATE

We learn of one more time bomb inserted by Obama a couple of days before his departures. In this case,foreign workers. The more the merrier for him, but in this case let’s have those of us flying the friendly skies supported by American workers, not those earning a buck an hour. Here tis:

Airline pilots will hold a White House rally on Tuesday asking President Donald Trump pilotsto block Obama’s last-minute approval of a plan that would replace thousands of American pilots with foreign aircrew paid at rock-bottom foreign wages.

The airline pilots’ appeal will come one day after Trump’s signature on Monday killed the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal, which would have allowed an unlimited number of foreign companies to replace U.S. workers with imported foreign workers paid $1 an hour wages.

“This [Obama pilot] decision is just another failed trade deal by the Obama administration, giving foreign companies an unfair advantage over U.S. companies,” said Captain Jon Weaks, Southwest Airlines Pilots’ Association president.

Throughout his two terms, Obama worked to increase the annual inflow of foreign white-collar workers, and his last-minute regulations allow many more white-collar contract workers to get permanent residence.

Obama’s expansion of the H-1B outsourcing program would take effect just three days before he leaves the White House. It can be seen as a direct challenge to incoming President Donald Trump, who promised to reform the H-1B program.

“This is an attempt to rewrite the Green Card [immigration] system through regulation,” said John Miano, an attorney who represents American workers hit by H-1B outsourcing. “The effect is to make an even bigger hash of the problems we have now,” he told Breitbart News. Currently, roughly 1 million while-collar jobs in Americans are held by multi-year foreign contract workers. These professionals include 100,000 H-1B contract workers employed in universities, and 147,00 foreign graduates of U.S. universities. Also, several Democrat-run states are granting professional licenses to illegal immigrants. In addition, legal immigration brings in more than 150,000 white-collar immigrants each year.

Clown suit Obama bows, uses pen to change China Visas

What has been lost in translation with our newest rendition of a clown President was the change in immigration law he just created with his pen. Once more lawless, and underreported. Obama is just testing out his immigration wings without comment from the GOP. Not bad enough? He wishes China well, for us? Not so much.

Beijing (AFP) – President Barack Obama announced a deal Monday to extend visas for Chinese visitors to the United States for up to a decade, insisting he wants China “to do well” despite simmering tensions between the world’s two largest economies.

“The United States welcomes the rise of a prosperous, peaceful and stable China,” Obama said in a speech at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Beijing.

President Obama announced a new plan Monday to extend Chinese student visas to five years and business and tourist visas to 10 years, saying the move will boost jobs in the United States.

The visa plan was part of Obama’s overall call for improved economic ties between the two nations, he said, and would help China “do well.”

The visa change will also apply to U.S. citizens in China. Previously, visas were granted on a year-at-a-time basis.  Full story at Yahoo News

Obama plans on bringing in even more third world ‘immigrants’

If anyone out there thinks Obama is giving us the magical finger, the headlines says it all. Of course, this doesn’t count for all those who stay beyond their approved Visa’s. DHS OPENS DOOR TO NEW IMMIGRANTS FROM HAITI, EXTENDS SPECIAL PROTECTIONS FOR HONDURAN, NICARAGUAN IMMIGRANTS

DHS announced a new program to allow thousands, the Miami Herald reported, of Haitians to legally come to the United States.

According to DHS, the Haitian Family Reunification Parole (HFRP) Program will expedite the “family reunification” of U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents who have family members in Haiti by allowing such immigrants whose family-based visa petitions have already been approved come to the U.S. two years early.

“The rebuilding and development of a safe and economically strong Haiti is a priority for the United States,” Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas said in a statement. ”The Haitian Family Reunification Parole program promotes a fundamental underlying goal of our immigration system – family reunification.”

The program will also allow the new immigrants to apply for work permits.

The Dept. of Homeland Security announced Friday that is will be extending Temporary Protected Status to nationals from Honduras and Nicaragua for an additional 18 months and instituting a new program to bring thousands of Haitian immigrants to U.S.

Temporary Protected Status is a designation the DHS secretary may declare for certain foreign countries if “conditions in the country that temporarily prevent the country’s nationals from returning safely, or in certain circumstances, where the country is unable to handle the return of its nationals adequately.”

The status allows the protected nationals — in this case those from Honduras and Nicaragua — to remain and be eligible to work in the United States.

An aide to Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) noted that these re-authorizations and new program is coming at a time when the middle class is struggling, 48 million Americans are in poverty and net unemployment growth in the U.S. has largely gone to immigrants since 2000.

“As numerical context for these executive actions, keep in mind that the Census Bureau reports that total immigration levels have reached a record 41.3 million,” the aide emailed. “Each year, the US issues 1 million green cards to permanent immigrants (largely lesser-skilled), 700,000 guest worker permits, 500,000 foreign students, and 70,000 refugees and asylees.”

Diversity Visa Lottery – a sure way to bring Terrorists into our midst

I first wrote a post back in 2010 about this absurd Diversity Visa program that allows thousands to come to the United States from terror ridden countries.  All in the name of political correctness that puts us all at risk. So our very lives now depend on the luck of the draw? If we are very lucky the ultimate power ball winners will not be terrorists who will come here to kill us. At the least, another drain on our society. Those will come who have no skills, health problems that we will have to take care of, a religion that has no respect to our Judeo-Christian heritage. Now? We have the concern of Ebola.

National Review:

The Diversity Visa (DV) program, to take just one glaring example of government insanity, is still going.

On October 1, the State Department opened the annual DV random lottery to applicants from around the world. Yes, it’s completely random, like a Powerball drawing. Up to 55,000 lucky winners will snag permanent residency visas (green cards), which put them on the path to American citizenship ahead of millions of other foreigners patiently waiting to come to this country.

The Diversity Visa lottery program is a public-health hazard and a national-security risk that leaves our safety to random chance. But pleas to curtail or end the program since the 9/11 attacks have fallen on deaf ears.

But if you come from a terror-sponsoring or terror-friendly nation — such as Iran, Syria, Sudan, North Korea, or more than a dozen officially designated terror enablers on the State Department’s list — no worries. Thousands from these breeding grounds for jihad will walk through our front doors.

You know who else will get in? Untold numbers of “diversity” petitioners from Liberia, Sierra Leone, and other West African countries where the Ebola virus is epidemic. If you think the feds will ensure that foreign visa-seekers with communicable diseases stay out, think again. The State Department now allows applicants with HIV to apply and enter. Those who suffer from tuberculosis, leprosy, or other afflictions “of public health significance” can apply for waivers.

Unfortunately, there is no antidote for our government’s blind and deadly diversity worship. Political correctness is a plague on us all.

State Department Using ‘Diversity Visas’ to Encourage Immigration to U.S. from Terror-Ridden Yemen

The State Department has awarded 1,011 special “diversity visas” allowing Yemeni nationals to immigrate to the United States since 2000, the year 17 U.S. sailors were killed when the USS Cole was attacked by terrorists in the Yemeni port of Aden.

The “diversity visas” are designed to encourage immigration from countries that do not otherwise send significant numbers of immigrants to the United States.

Obama killed program that kept an eye on Muslim immigrants

So we had a program that kept a good eye on immigrants from Muslim countries. Did anyone in Congress let us know that Obama was getting rid of it because it was “offensive”? NSEERS was its name’

The National Security Entry-Exit Registration System (NSEERS) or INS Special Registration[1] is a system for registering certain non-citizens within the United States, initiated in September 2002 as part of the War on Terrorism. Portions were suspended as of April 27th, 2011.[2] This system has two separate components: port-of-entry registration and domestic registration. In each case, those who register are fingerprinted, photographed, and interrogated. They are required to provide detailed information about their plans and to update Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) if their plans change. They are only permitted to enter and depart the U.S. through designated ports of entry.

Domestic registration

Certain non-citizens who were in the United States prior to September 10, 2002, have been required to register in person at an INS office.[3] This procedure is required of males over the age of sixteen who entered the United States legally on particular types of visa (primarily student, work, and tourist) from certain countries.

Results of the program:

As of May 2003, 82,581 individuals had complied with the domestic portion of the program. Of these, at least 13,153 were placed in deportation proceedings. Although the program originally included a requirement to re-register annually, the Department of Homeland Security, which gained jurisdiction over the program, eliminated this requirement. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) was on Happening Now this morning and remarked on Obama’s previous moves to make America less secure. Obama did away with the NSEERS program that scrutinized immigrants from 25, mostly Muslim, countries. Rand Paul reminded FOX viewers of this program this morning.

“Where 25 countries were targeted and we said they need special scrutiny to make sure they’re not coming here to attack us. President Obama disbanded that.”

Liberals like Obama thought NSEERS was offensive and discriminatory. So Obama did away with it.

No Jobs for Americans, But Plenty of Foreign Worker Visas

 I had been reading that we were giving out more H-1B visas than at anytime before. While I am unable to find the source document listing the number of  worker visas– of which there are numerous types, this particular H-1B stands out. Ten Billion in contracts for American workers from India? The immigration and Nationality act passed in the ’90′s spawned the H-1B visa. U.S. firms can import “temporary” foreign workers for high skilled jobs such as those in the science and engineering fields. The idea was that to remain competitive, companies could import these foreign workers when Americans could not be found for the jobs. That was the idea.

To give you an idea of the scale of visa abuse, Microsoft laid off 5,800 American workers in the last two years. During that same time period they also received 2,355 H-1B visas. They no doubt saved a bundle. Microsoft is not alone. They are just an example.

The high-tech industry in the United States “lost” 245,000 jobs last year. At the same time, more than 100,000 H-1B visas were issued. The same government that issued these visas are the same ones that cannot find money for a Tier 5 extension. They borrowed nearly $900 billion to “stimulate” an economy. The economy remains in shambles. This is the same government that champions amnesty, with accompanying chain migration. This is the same government that despite the aforementioned failures, continue to issue foreign work visas hand over fist.

So America is being hit from all sides. High skilled labor is shipped in, and low skill labor just walks in. Caught in the middle is the American worker, not wanted by American companies (or those posing as American companies), or the American government for that matter.

The H-1B visa typically lasts three years, although it can be extended to six. If a company wishes to sponsor the imported worker for permanent residence, the visa can be extended indefinitely. Even those that come over on student visas can land an H-1B visa and potentially remain in the United States indefinitely.

The former Commerce Minster of India, Kamal Nath, has dubbed the H-1B visa the “outsourcing visa.” What he meant was that companies import cheap labor, not to compliment the American workforce, but to replace it. Once these worker s have been trained in the United States, they return to their native countries, and take the jobs they had in the United States with them. In other words, the jobs were never intended for Americans. .
