Trump’s Shock and Awe Reaches the Sunday AM News Shows

It has begun….Tump put the pedal to the metal and we had a week not to be forgotten. Then his guys were out on the Sunday talk shows mopping up leaving the show hosts gasping for air. Border Czar Holden left ABC’s Martha Raddatz in shock, repeating herself in disbelief. J.D. Vance took on the Catholic Church and immigration over on Face the Nation. Here we go with just what happened this past week..

Just a few short months ago, here is where we were.

CBS Margaret Brennan and Vance in his first interview since sworn in as Vice President. He equated himself well, and was a match for Brennan.

Brennan and Vance discussed several issues throughout their interview including cabinet nominations, immigration, disaster relief, and the J6 pardons. One moment that is garnering significant attention is the devoutly Catholic Vance calling out the US Conference of Catholic Bishops for their ridiculous statement on immigration enforcement.

Last week, the Trump Administration rescinded a guideline issued under the Biden regime which barred ICE from conducting enforcement in or near so-called “sensitive” areas. These areas included schools and churches, which have been known to harbor illegal aliens.

The US Conference of Catholic Bishops, which receives over $100 million to ‘resettle’ illegals every year, responded by complaining that the move will turn “places of care, healing, and solace into places of fear and uncertainty for those in need” while endangering “the trust between pastors” and “the people they serve.”

In response, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops said Sunday in a statement, “Faithful to the teaching of Jesus Christ, the Catholic Church has a long history of serving refugees.”

“In 1980, the bishops of the United States began partnering with the federal government to carry out this service when Congress created the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP). Every person resettled through USRAP is vetted and approved for the program by the federal government while outside of the United States,” the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops said.

Many resettlement refugee agencies are faith-based groups. On Friday many of these groups were also told some of their federal funding would be suspended days after Trump enacted an indefinite pause on admissions of refugees to the United States.

EU Attacks Orban – Trump Ukraine Peace Efforts. It Thwarts Susan Rice Overthrow of Orban

Hungary’s Orban is traveling the globe in search of peace for Ukraine. Trump is a main player. Susan Rice doesn’t like that as it double crosses her attempt at removing Orban. Now we know the players in this sinister plot of an effort to achieve peace. Even “Morning Joe” weighs in. “It’s taboo” says those in the EU. And now the EU is putting the hammer down. Orban is in a six month rotation as President of the EU. It would be a shame apparently to achieve peace.

The Globalists can’t have that.

Following Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s trips to Kyiv, Moscow and Beijing, the EU has launched a partial boycott of meetings organized by the rotating presidency, while 63 MEPs are now calling for Hungary’s EU voting rights to be entirely suspended.

Commenting on the debate, Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer said that Viktor Orbán had broken a taboo, which should be discussed, but that in response to this, another taboo should not be broken, so there was no need to boycott the Hungarian EU presidency.

The Austrian chancellor said that the worst solution is for the parties within the European Union not to talk to each other, which is why ministers from the Austrian People’s Party will continue to attend the EU Council presidency meetings.

EU Cannot stand Trump. No wonder Trump has been smiling.

Orban’s letter, addressed to European Council President Charles Michel and sent to all European Union leaders, was written in the wake of his controversial meetings with former President Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping and Zelensky.

“I can surely state that shortly after his election victory, he will not wait until his inauguration, [Trump] will be ready to act as a peace broker immediately. He has detailed and well-founded plans for this,” Orbán wrote.”

What they fail to realize is that one has to deal with all kinds of folks if you want to make a deal. Sometimes you “butter them up.” Sometimes you look the other way. Trump knows that. It is how he dealt with North Korea. Oh well.

If DOJ Rosenstein resigns, up comes GOP Rachel Brands

Maybe one lightbulb shining over at the DOJ? It might be possible to squeeze out Rosenstein who essentially now is running all that matters over there. He has huge conflict of interest issues. According to Zero Hedge, we have a GOPer next in line. It’s hard to find anything to be cheerful about with this whole thing, but let’s take a look at Rachel Brand. The fact that Fauxcahontas was on the warpath against her is a plus:

Before this morning, most people in the United States had never heard of Associate Attorney General Rachel Brand.  But, an ABC story (which covered here) suggesting that Acting Attorney General Rod Rosenstein may have to recuse himself from overseeing Special Counsel Mueller’s Russia probe, and that Brand would be the next inline to step into that position, changed all that.

So what do we know about Rachel Brand?  Well, we know 4 things with absolute certainty:

  1. She was appointed by the Trump administration and confirmed on May 18, 2017
  2. She is an active contributor to Republican campaigns
  3. Democrats hate her
  4. Therefore, by the transitive property, we also know with absolute certainty she is a Russian spy.

This is how ABC described Brand:

As for Brand, she previously led the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Policy, and she most recently served as a member of the government’s Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board. She graduated from Harvard Law School and clerked for Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, according to the Justice Department.

Sessions recently said she “has proven herself to be a brilliant lawyer.”

“She is also a dedicated public servant who is strongly committed to upholding the rule of law and our Constitution,” he added.
