On 18th December 1972, Neilia Hunter-Biden pulled out of an intersection in front of a tractor-trailer driven by Curtis Dunn, traveling north on Route 7. The broadside collision killed Neilia and her infant daughter and inflicted severe injuries on her other two children, “Hunter” and “Beau.” It was one of those horrific American tragedies where an inattentive driver pulls out in front of another vehicle and is killed.
Mr. Dunn did nothing to cause the accident, nor was there anything he could do to avoid it. He was not impaired while driving his rig, which was traveling at or below the posted speed limit. Police never charged Mr. Dunn for any moving violation.
The fact that Curtis Dunn was not at fault in the accident didn’t stop Joe Biden from publicly claiming that at the time of the accident, Mr. Dunn was driving under the influence of alcohol. It wasn’t true, of course. Worse, though, knowing that the claim was false made Joe Biden’s assertion more than merely incorrect — it proved that Joe Biden is a liar.
But lying is what Joe Biden does for a living, and he does it with such frequency that people begin to suspect Joe of being a pathological liar. He lies all the time … but in this case, his lie is malicious and, therefore, unforgivable. One may certainly understand Biden’s anger at the death of his wife, even when it was her fault. What Joe did was direct his angst at an innocent man, Curtis Dunn — and there it remains even now, long after Mr. Dunn has passed away.
Even though this tragedy happened 49 years ago, Joe Biden has never hesitated to use the incident to gain sympathy points during an election year. That’s the kind of person Joe Biden is. Very low class. So then, why is this even relevant today? It’s relevant because Biden himself continues to state that a drunk driver killed his wife.
Again, it is a malicious lie … and it is malevolent because Dunn’s family has had to endure the widespread rumors and reports propagated by Joe Biden that Curtis Dunn was drinking before the collision that Nelia Biden caused. Biden has made this claim on more than a few occasions. CBS News reported Biden’s lie in 2007 — and, to my knowledge, has never retracted it.
Curtis Dunn’s daughter, Pamela Hamill, has stated that her father suffered from the accident; it tormented him for years — this is the reaction to a tragedy that we might expect from a decent human being. He didn’t cause it; he couldn’t avoid it, but he felt terrible about it for the balance of his life. Mr. Dunn died in 1999, but that hasn’t stopped his family’s suffering, particularly since Joe Biden keeps repeating his hateful lie. Pam Hamill argues that her father had not been drinking.
The police reports “have been lost,” but a Delaware Judge named Jerome Herlihy investigated the crash, and he states that Hamill’s claim is true: there was never any evidence or suspicion that Curtis Dunn was driving while impaired. In 2009, a Biden spokesman announced that Joe Biden “fully accepts” the Dunn family’s word that “the rumors” were false.
Fast Forward to 2022
Okay … yet Biden keeps the rumor fresh in everyone’s mind — so we cannot claim that this is all water under the bridge. Biden’s somewhat bizarre involvement with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Canadian “freedom convoy” demonstration may keep the incident in the present. For some underlying reason, Joe Biden has no love for truckers of any nationality.

Biden urged Trudeau to use his federal powers to suppress the demonstrations. Trudeau’s heavy hand hasn’t worked so far but bless them … the statists keep trying. Of more immediate concern to Biden and his fascist cabinet heads, if American truckers get involved, it might interfere with the (gasp) Super Bowl and Biden’s State of the Union Speech … God forbid.
According to USA Today, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has received “reports” of truck drivers planning to potentially block roads in major metropolitan cities in the United States in protest of, among other things, vaccine mandates for truck drivers. DHS recently put out a bulletin to its “local law enforcement partners.” Notice the over-use of the words potentially and possibly.
The DHS notification continues, “While there are currently no indications of planned violence if hundreds of trucks converge in a major metropolitan city, the potential exists to severely disrupt transportation, federal government operations, commercial facilities, and emergency services through gridlock and potential counterprotests.”
What makes this an international issue is that Canada has decided to block commerce by refusing admission to Canada any truck driver who cannot prove that they’ve been vaccinated against COVID-19. The irritation exists equally among Canadian and American truck drivers.
Last month, the DHS began requiring all non-U.S. individuals seeking to enter the United States at Canadian and Mexican borders to be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 — and provide proof of vaccinations, as well. [Okay — except for several hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens flooding across the U.S. southern border who are NOT required to have any vaccinations whatsoever.]
I’m also not making this up: “Citing unspecified law enforcement sources, the DHS memo warned that the protest group intends to start in California, including Los Angeles, where, it said, Super Bowl LVI and accompanying events ‘are expected to draw approximately 70,000 attendees to the game and millions of people to the Los Angeles area’.” [To clarify, that would be 70,000 attendees and millions of people who may or may not be appropriately inoculated for COVID-19.]
Is any of this making sense to anyone yet? Me either. But DHS is worried that those damn Canadian truckers may join up with the American truckers to block off Washington, D.C., and interfere with the U.S. President’s State of the Union speech on1 March 2022. So far, DHS has not detected any “domestic violent extremists” calling for violence related to the event, and no one (so far) is trying to EXPLOIT their first amendment rights.
Question: how does one exploit their rights?
As expressed to Justin Trudeau, Joe Biden’s concern is that Canadian protests are blocking commerce between the U.S. and Canada. Didn’t Trudeau do that when he blocked American truckers from entering Canada? Didn’t Biden do that when DHS blocked Canadian and Mexican truckers from entering the U.S. without vaccinations?
Final Question: Are we living in an alternate universe where only weirdness seems rational?
