American Pope Leo XIV – The Cardinals Sleight of Hand who Delivered a Trojan Horse?

The newly minted Catholic Pope speaks Spanish, Italian, Latin and English yet chose not to speak a word of English at his debut in Saint Peter’s Square as the white smoke had barely cleared. Spanish? But of course he had words of wisdom for those folks as well as Italian for the natives. But no words for the English speaking, and especially America. And he hails from Chicago no less. A Cardinal for just a year and a half.

I got the hint.

We don’t need to do a lot of research. As it turns out he makes his political stance well known by being quite a prolific Xer especially with his re-posts. I am sure the youth will find this attractive.

Leo XIV did a gig in Peru – a flashback occurred. South America- where the previous Pope earned his Marxist credentials.

No offense to Catholics but as a Protestant I believe we have been played by the selection of this Pope. Though should we have been surprised that we got a 2.0? He expanded the number of Cardinals and hand picked about 80 as I recall.

So here we go with what the United States will deal with as we add another divider in chief to the scene here.

Gateway Pundit:

While the corporate media hails Leo XIV as a centrist, a deeper dive into his public statements and social media activity reveals a different story: this pope is unabashedly pro-open borders and has openly criticized conservative leaders—most notably, Vice President J.D. Vance—for standing up for American sovereignty.

A review of Leo XIV’s X, account shows a pattern of left-leaning political advocacy. On February 3, he shared an article from the far-left National Catholic Reporter titled, “JD Vance is wrong: Jesus doesn’t ask us to rank our love for others”—a clear jab at Vance’s call for immigration policies that prioritize American citizens.

Just days later, on February 12, he doubled down by promoting another piece slamming Vance’s Christian worldview as it relates to border security.

The article criticized the Vice President’s defense of the ordo amoris—the Christian principle of ordering our loves and responsibilities, with special emphasis on one’s nation, family, and community.

And most recently, Leo XIV retweeted Catholic commentator Rocco Palmo’s post blasting both President Donald Trump and Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele for enforcing immigration laws.

The tweet reads, “As Trump & Bukele use Oval to Feds’ illicit deportation of a US resident (https://bit.ly/3ROMjnP), once an undoc-ed Salvadorean himself, now-DC Aux +Evelio asks, “Do you not see the suffering? Is your conscience not disturbed? How can you stay quiet?””

The story goes on with opining with more tweets including George Floyd and U.S. putting children in cages. For more:

As a Protestant Christian I sincerely was hoping for a true conservative that would set aside politics and focus on the Word. Help to bring us together.

It was my intention with this post to express my disappointment. Not to bash any religion. When I heard on Fox from the former priest who was a regular before he lost his way, who left the church to get married and have children, opine that this was a day all Christians should celebrate including Protestants, it was one bridge too far.

Let’s have any comments be respectful.

Pope Endorses U.N. Pro-Abortion “Sustainable Development” Agenda

The Pope’s big deal at the Amazon meeting held recently was the discussion regarding married priests which took the headline. As with all of these meetings, it’s always good to look further. We are just learning about the fine print.

The low background hum you hear are the globalists and now the Pope advancing the over population of the planet theme. By golly, they will find a way to bring earth back to the glory days of Adam and Eve. After all, who should want to bring a child into this terrible earth we are living on. Killing Mother Earth.. is it 10 or 12 years we have left? I get so confused. Well that was quick, Catholics went past birth control being a sin to abortion all in one Pope’s reign.

If we thought this notion of just too many of us started recently, I will swing by Africa and what Obama’s thoughts were back in 2013.

But back to the tale:

“The Pontifical Academy of Sciences, members of a United Nations network directed by a pro-abortion globalist [Jeffrey Sachs], and governors of the Pan-Amazonian region have signed a common declaration committing themselves to implementing the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs) in the Amazon.

“The Oct. 28 declaration, addressed to Pope Francis and signed at the pontifical academy’s Vatican headquarters one day after the close of the Amazon Synod, consists in 14 pledges to ‘build together effective solutions for sustainable development of Amazonia.’”

The three-week gathering, or synod, discussed spreading the faith in the Amazon, a greater role for women, environmental protection, climate change, deforestation, indigenous people and their right to keep their land and traditions.

While the sustainable development goals include “universal access to sexual and reproductive health-care services, including for family planning, information and education, and the integration of reproductive health into national strategies and programmes,” their focus is providing for abortion.

The SDGs indeed are all about abortion. They propose that we make the planet a safer place through population control, i.e. abortion, but this is done under the guise of caring for the poor. The globalist ploy is to say that ‘we shouldn’t bring people into the world to suffer but should first take care of the poor that are among us.’

According to U.N. globalists, the big “sin” against the planet is the birthing of children since they will grow up to “pollute” the environment, so they see abortion as a sacrifice to this terrestrial deity, in a similar way children have been sacrificed to the Pachamama idol. The “Mother Earth” Pachamama idol that was venerated at the Vatican during the Amazon Synod merely symbolized this globalist cause of “atoning” to the planet. To think that Rome has joined the infamous U.N. in bowing to its planetary idol!

But it doesn’t end there. Pope Francis has handed the Church’s evangelical mission over to the United Nations, telling them, ‘you are now the pastors of the flock,’ and he tells the flock, ‘the U.N. representatives are now your pastors. When they speak, it is your duty to obey.’ Consider his discourse from a September 10 press conference on route to Rome from Madagascar.

“When we acknowledge international organizations and we recognize their capacity to give judgment, on a global scale — for example the international tribunal in The Hague, or the United Nations — If we consider ourselves humanity, when they make statements, our duty is to obey … We must obey international institutions. That is why the United Nations were created.”

Let’s take a look at what and the why of Africans as well and why no doubt their population needs to be controlled. T.V.’s and cars and air conditioning will just boil over the planet.

Obama: ‘The planet will “boil over” if Africans raise their standard of living’

President Barack Obama said at a town hall event in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Saturday gives us this doom and gloom.

“Ultimately, if you think about all the youth that everybody has mentioned here in Africa, if everybody is raising living standards to the point where everybody has got a car and everybody has got air conditioning, and everybody has got a big house, well, the planet will boil over — unless we find new ways of producing energy.” –

Pope meets Palestinian Leader, Palestinian Embassy opens to the Vatican

The Pope may want to be cautious in opening his arms to Abbas. He wants to ensure that Jerusalem remains safe and sound? I am not sure throwing Israel under the bus is the road to go. He might want to go over the old Vatican records and review the history. Here we go:

abbasThe Vatican stressed the sacred nature of Jerusalem on Saturday as the Palestinian leader warned that prospects for peace could suffer if the incoming Trump administration goes ahead with plans to move the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

After the papal meeting, Abbas formally inaugurated the new Palestinian embassy across the street from one of the main gates of Vatican City. He pulled back a curtain revealing a plaque and extended the Palestinian flag from a flagpole outside a window.

The embassy, located in the same building as the embassies of Peru, Ecuador and Burkina Faso, comes after recent accords in which the Vatican formally recognized the “State of Palestine.”

“This embassy is a place of pride for us and we hope all of the countries of the world will recognize the state of Palestine, because this recognition will bring us closer to the peace process,” he said.

The developments came as Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met with Pope Francis and inaugurated the Palestinian embassy to the Holy See.

The Palestinians strongly oppose the U.S. embassy move, saying it would kill any hopes for negotiating an Israeli-Palestinian peace agreement and rile the region by undercutting Muslim and Christian claims to the holy city.

During the meeting, Abbas presented Francis with gifts recalling Christianity’s birthplace in the Holy Land, including a stone from the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem and documentation about the ongoing restoration of the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. More at  Newsmax

Pope Francis says that Fake News is a sin

I’m sorry, but this seems so orchestrated. I am no fan of the Pope. Mainly because it appears that his Marxism seems at times to supersede any resemblance of a religious leader. But that has been covered before. Pope Francis role during Argentina’s ‘Dirty War’ come back again?  — bunkerville

Essentially, this drumbeat about fake news simply is the first step in justifying censorship. So while Progressives rale against the right and its authoritarian bent, it is the Progs who are taking it to a dangerous level.

I throw in as well the short version of Hillary telling us the danger of fake news. That is the joke of the day. Here we go:

Media that focus on scandals and spread fake news to smear politicians risk becoming like people who have a morbid fascination with excrement, Pope Francis said in an interview published on Wednesday.

Francis told the Belgian Catholic weekly Tertio that spreading disinformation was “probably the greatest damage that the media can do” and using communications for this rather than to educate the public amounted to a sin.

The Argentine-born pontiff excused himself for using such terms in order to get his point across while answering a question about the correct use of the media.

“I think the media have to be very clear, very transparent, and not fall into — no offense intended — the sickness of coprophilia, that is, always wanting to cover scandals, covering nasty things, even if they are true,” he said.

He also spoke of the danger of using the media to slander political rivals.

“The means of communication have their own temptations, they can be tempted by slander, and therefore used to slander people, to smear them, this above all in the world of politics,” he said. “They can be used as means of defamation…”

“No one has a right to do this. It is a sin and it is hurtful,” he said.

Here we have the ultimate purveyor of “Fake News.” But then again, what difference does it make?

Hillary Clinton said fake news is an “epidemic” and “a danger that must be addressed and addressed quickly” while attending a portrait unveiling on Capitol Hill, in honor of retiring Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid.

Pope Francis role during Argentina’s ‘Dirty War’ come back again?

To my Catholic readers, I do not in any way wish to cast aspersions on a day of celebration. There is a concern regarding the new Pope that I believe it needs to come forward. Should we have a discussion of the role the Catholic Church and its involvement in politics? None more than the so-called “Dirty war” in Argentina. The Associated Press provides details on Francis’ relationship to the regime, and one can easily read Francis’ record in two different waysRead here. Please leave respectable comments.

Here are some comments to the article:

Comments:

What was the Church’s alternatives ? It was either support a right-wing dictatorship or face a left-wing firing squad. You think they didn’t remember what the communists did in Spain ?

Response:

If by that you mean “What else could the hierarchy have done?”, I would say that they could have taken their collective cue from the likes of Óscar Romero and shown a little moral fibre by opposing the torture, murder and oppression of their own people.

Will Francis’s role during Argentina’s ‘Dirty War’ come back to haunt him?

From 1973 to 1979, a period that overlapped with military dictatorship lasting from 1976 to 1983, Francis served as the top Argentine Jesuit official. During that time, the Catholic Church remained silent in the face of widespread human rights violations during the country’s so-called “Dirty War,” an effort by the military government to root out dissent by torture, murder, and disappearances.

Bergoglio has been criticized by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) for his behavior during the 1976-1983 dictatorship in Argentina, with some journalists claiming that he prevented human rights groups from finding political prisoners by imprisoning them in his vacation home.

The sins of the Argentinian church

The Catholic church was complicit in dreadful crimes in Argentina. Now it has a chance to repent

Francis still arrives with something of a troubled history. As the head of the Jesuit Order during the country’s military dictatorship, he may be tainted by the church’s well-documented history of turning a blind eye to the regime’s practice of killing progressive priests.

To his credit, Bergoglio has in recent years spearheaded the Argentine Catholic Church’s effort to apologize for its collaboration with the military regime, and last October Argentine bishops apologized for their failure to speak out against human rights abuses.

But with his ascendance to the papacy, greater scrutiny than ever will be directed toward his record during the time of Argentina’s military regime. The information that emerges may come to define Francis’ papacy.

In several cases, Catholic priests collaborated with the government and were even in the room as prisoners were tortured. In February, an Argentine court ruled that the Catholic church hierarchy, of which Francis was arguably a member, had “closed its eyes” to the killing of progressive priests. In 2005, human rights lawyers filed a case against then-Cardinal Bergoglio alleging that he had been complicit in the kidnapping of two Jesuit priests.

The extent of the church’s complicity in the dark deeds was excellently set out by Horacio Verbitsky, one of Argentina’s most notable journalists, in his book El Silencio (Silence). He recounts how the Argentinian navy with the connivance of Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio, now the Jesuit archbishop of Buenos Aires, hid from a visiting delegation of the Inter-American Human Rights Commission the dictatorship’s political prisoners. Bergoglio was hiding them in nothing less than his holiday home in an island called El Silencio in the River Plate. The most shaming thing for the church is that in such circumstances Bergoglio’s name was allowed to go forward in the ballot to chose the successor of John Paul II. What scandal would not have ensued if the first pope ever to be elected from the continent of America had been revealed as an accessory to murder and false imprisonment.
