15,000 Media and Entertainment Jobs were Lost Last Year

People are fed up with fake news and movies about the worst of us. A Gallup poll shows that only 31 percent of people believe the news saying they had a “great deal” or “fair amount” of confidence the media will report the news “fully, accurately and fairly.” With alternative news sources such as “X” and YouTube as well as podcasts,  people are no longer stuck with limited options.

Breitbart picks up the story:

The year keeps getting better, with the news that 15,000 people (who hate us) lost their media and entertainment jobs in 2024.

This comes after 21,417 people (who hate us) lost their media and entertainment jobs in 2023.

“The numbers, courtesy of Chicago-based firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas Inc., which tracks the employment market, are sobering,” reports the far-left Wrap. “While the 14,909 jobs that were lost by mid-December this year offered an improvement on the 21,417 jobs that were cut in 2023, it would be unwise to consider this year a ‘comeback’ by any stretch.”

“Combined, the number of jobs lost between 2023-24 more than quadrupled the amount lost between 2021-22.

The numbers are staggering…

  • Vice Media shut down Vice.com, which killed several hundred jobs
  • CNNLOL laid off 100 and more are coming (tee hee)
  • ABC News let 75 go
  • Scripps axed 200
  • Amazon Studios whacked a hundred
  • The Disney Grooming Syndicate laid off hundreds
  • Warner Bros. cut 1,0000

…and on and on it goes.

The Wrap lays out all the reasons for this jobs massacre — disruption from streaming and AI, the slow death of cable TV, the normal consolidation and restructuring…

Senator Mike Lee Exposes Schumer, McConnell, Johnson, and Jeffries Secretly Spending 85 Days Crafting the 1,547 Abomination

Troubled waters for the GOP ahead with the attempted sell out by Johnson in trying to dump 1500 pages of pork on the House. Speaker Johnson, all cozy with Trump these past weeks. He spent time with Trump at Mar a Lago, the Army Navy game etc. and didn’t say a word about the 1,547 page abomination that he’s been working on for weeks.

Schumer, McDonald, Johnson, Jeffrey—the firm. They did this. Okay, McDonald and Schumer cooked this up for the last 85 days in secret, dropped it on everybody Wednesday, and this is where we are.

There is a word for that.

In a fiery appearance on Jesse Watters’ Primetime, Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) pulled back the curtain on what he calls a “historic betrayal of the American people.”

Lee accused Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), and House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) of secretly negotiating a bloated $1.7 trillion spending bill behind closed doors for nearly three months.

Lee revealed that the controversial legislation had been in the works for 85 days without the public’s knowledge, an act he characterized as an affront to transparency and accountability.

 

Senator Lee predicted dire consequences for those involved, specifically targeting Speaker Mike Johnson’s hold on power.

Too many have too much at stake.

Paul Ryan Praises Speaker Johnson for Allowing Democrats to Seize House 

Paul Ryan, a member of the Fox Corporation Board of Directors, praised House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) for permitting Democrats to seize control of the House last week.

Democrats steamrolled Johnson by successfully pushing Biden administration’s agenda through the House. Johnson gave Biden “pretty much everything” Biden asked for “without having to concede much in return,” Punchbowl reported.

Johnson “found his footing, and his voice. … [H]e did it as a statesman, risking his own personal political fortune for the greater good that he believes in,” Ryan told Axios Tuesday.

The former House Speaker’s opinion appears to represent the mainstream establishment opinion of Johnson’s historic maneuver, but it does not represent many conservatives.

“A party unable to bring its agenda to the floor for a vote is no longer a functional majority,” Brendan Buck, a top staffer to Ryan, recently wrote in a New York Times op-ed.

Ryan’s comment comes as he holds significant influence within the Fox Corporation Board of Directors. Ryan, a board member since March 2019, serves as the chair of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee at the Fox Corporation.

McConnell Takes Control of Two Most Powerful Committees as he Steps Down as Leader

Thune AKA Paul Ryan 2.0. Trading one master for another. While we celebrated the GOP taking control of the Senate this past election, one has to wonder how far did we come in ridding ourselves of the worst elements that stymied Trump his last go around. It turns out that the old fool McConnell has cut himself a sweet deal in keeping his cold almost dead hands on control of the Senate.

While he may have turned leadership over the Senator Thune, McConnell instead will be in control of the two most powerful committees in the Senate. Maine’s Senator Collins will be right there along side of him taking control of the full Appropriations Committee, another one who with her side kick Murkosksi from Alaska, are thorns in the GOP side

Maine Sen. Susan Collins currently holds the top Republican slot on the Defense Subcommittee, which drafts the Pentagon’s annual spending bill, worth $825 billion.

Collins is expected to become chairwoman of the full Appropriations Committee next year and McConnell said in the statement he looks forward to working with her “to accomplish our shared goal.”

It wasn’t immediately clear Thursday if Collins would become chairwoman of one of the Appropriations Committee’s other 11 subcommittees.

McConnell will also take over the Senate Rules Committee, one of the oldest panels in the chamber that holds a broad jurisdiction.

Speaker Johnson’s 1547 Page C.R. – Rather a Massive Omnibus Spending and Regulatory Bill

Speaker Johnson is pulling the same stunt, almost to the same day last year that he is doing today. The only thing different this time is X is a player with Musk amd Vivek making noises and Trump in the wings. Yet it is the same Johnson that has sold us down the tubes time and again. Enlisting Democrat support to get the Democrat agenda across the line.

Anyone who has been around Bunkerville knows I am not a fan of House Speaker Johnson.

Indeed a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Worse, under the banner of his self-righteous  piety.

A statement from President Donald J. Trump and Vice President-Elect JD Vance:

The most foolish and inept thing ever done by Congressional Republicans was allowing our country to hit the debt ceiling in 2025. It was a mistake and is now something that must be addressed.

Meanwhile, Congress is considering a spending bill that would give sweetheart provisions for government censors and for Liz Cheney. The bill would make it easier to hide the records of the corrupt January 6 committee—which accomplished nothing for the American people and hid security failures that happened that day. This bill would also give Congress a pay increase while many Americans are struggling this Christmas.

Increasing the debt ceiling is not great but we’d rather do it on Biden’s watch. If Democrats won’t cooperate on the debt ceiling now, what makes anyone think they would do it in June during our administration? Let’s have this debate now. And we should pass a streamlined spending bill that doesn’t give Chuck Schumer and the Democrats everything they want.

Republicans want to support our farmers, pay for disaster relief, and set our country up for success in 2025. The only way to do that is with a temporary funding bill WITHOUT DEMOCRAT GIVEAWAYS combined with an increase in the debt ceiling. Anything else is a betrayal of our country.

Republicans must GET SMART and TOUGH. If Democrats threaten to shut down the government unless we give them everything they want, then CALL THEIR BLUFF. It is Schumer and Biden who are holding up aid to our farmers and disaster relief.

THIS CHAOS WOULD NOT BE HAPPENING IF WE HAD A REAL PRESIDENT. WE WILL IN 32 DAYS! (SOURCE)

The Double Cross: Late Thursday night, just before midnight, for the first time in recorded history — since the House began keeping records — the House Rules Committee relied on minority party votes to overcome objections from the majority and advance a rule bill to the House floor. Essentially merging four bills into one.

The result?

So money for thee’s border and security but none for me as our country is ravaged by our open borders. (So there was funding for Ukraine’s wall, but not the U.S.)

If you only listened to the audio of this Mike Johnson clip, and it was 2016, you would say Mike Johnson was progressive Democrat. 

“Transformative solutions” is New Age code for bringing us into their concept of the “New World Order.” Same old show as before.

What did we expect we would get in the end after the House voting down conservatives time after time?

What’s frustrating is that we have have dozens upon dozens of legislation and movements making minorities normalized in society, yet we have those who think we’re still in the early 1900’s.

While we rail against our government and its corruption, our system of government offers more opportunity than any other form of government in the world. We are blessed.

In truth most of us can lay claim to others having “an easier path.” Is this the lesson for his Black son? Had my I.Q been higher, born to a different family, lived somewhere else…. yes I indeed would have had an easier path. Each of us must come to terms with the fact that our destiny is ours to create. The best part of being an American is that we have the best opportunity in the world to make the most of it.

Central America Claims ‘They Don’t Have the Capacity’ to Take Back Their Illegals

If all these countries claim that they are “ill-prepared” to take back their citizens that Trump is planning to give them, we can assume these people were a drag on their economies as well as the society as a whole. If they are better off without them, why would the U.S. be better off with them?  The “give us your tired and poor… and huddled masses” no longer works for the U.S. as we have become the dumping ground for other countries and their problems.

Consider Canada.

A Statistics Canada study has found that 72% of government-sponsored refugees still rely on welfare programs two years after arrival, and 35% are still dependent after ten years.

Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador are “ill-prepared to handle” an influx of their own nationals who illegally immigrated to the U.S., the AP reports:

Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador, which have the largest number of people living illegally in the U.S., after Mexico, could be among the first and most heavily impacted by mass deportations, said Jason Houser, former Immigration & Customs Enforcement chief of staff in the Biden administration. [Emphasis added]

“We don’t have the capacity” to take so many people, said Antonio García, Honduras’ deputy foreign minister. “There’s very little here for deportees.” People who return, he said, “are the last to be taken care of.” [Emphasis added]

Breitbart continues:

To pre-emptively fight Trump’s deportation plans, Senate Democrats are urging President Joe Biden to sign several executive orders to shield huge portions of illegal aliens so that a future administration cannot deport them.

In fewer than four years, the Biden administration has overseen the arrival of nearly 8 million migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border. A congressional report found that about 85 percent of migrants arriving at the border under Biden have been released into the U.S. interior.

A doom and gloom report in the video for the migrants but the video does list the countries who are not interested in receiving back their citizens.

CNN Reporter Helped Free Notorious Al-Assad Regime Torturer

You can’t make this stuff up. This should help their ratings don’t you think? A command performance by a terrorist.

Despite a busy news cycle, CNN had a smaller average audience from 8-11 p.m. than 29 other cable networks, including Bravo, TV Land, Freeform Investigation Discovery, FX, Food Network and History. 

Since President-elect Donald Trump’s Election Day victory, Fox News holds 73% of the cable news audience in primetime as MSNBC and CNN’s audiences have seen viewers tune out the news. (Source)

New York Post:

The prisoner CNN escorted out of jail after he was freed by Syrian rebels was actually a notorious member of ousted President Bashar al-Assad’s forces, who tricked the outlet and rebels into helping him, according to a local fact checker.

Salama Mohammad Salama — a first lieutenant in Syrian Air Force Intelligence — allegedly misled rebels and CNN’s Clarissa Ward into leading him out of prison last week in a harrowing video, Verify-Sy reports.

Salama also has a long history of alleged war crimes, the Syrian fact-checking outlet added.

The viral video of the supposed rescue has since drawn scrutiny over key details regarding Salama’s appearance and reaction to the prison break, with CNN now investigating how their reporters might have been duped.

It couldn’t happen to a better cable “news” network other than MSNBC.

Trump Scores $15 Million Knock Out Settlement From ABC and George Stephanopoulous

The MSM is going nuts over the Trump defamation settlement made by ABC and George Stephanopoulos.  It was agreed to pay Trump $15 million smackeroos plus $1 million in his attorney fees. Depositions were set to take place this week.

It been a year since Bunk posted about it, so how about a refresher on just how egregious the claim was against Trump to start with? No one has talked about the scene of the crime and the damage made to the store where the alleged incident was to have taken place. Here is a portion of the post:

Keep in mind this is not the jury that convicted him of the sexual assault – no, it’s over a charge he maligned her in statements. The man is not allowed to defend himself.

It’s hard to find on Google, so here’s what you need to know about E. Jean Carroll, most of which was deemed “inadmissible” by the judge:

– She couldn’t recall the date, month, season, or year the incident happened – She never told anyone about it, despite being publicly obsessed with her own sexuality

– The dress she claims to have been wearing didn’t exist at the time – Her description of the dressing room at Bergdorf Goodman was inaccurate, making her sequence of events impossible

– Her lawsuit was bankrolled by Jeffrey Epstein pal and Democrat (and Nikki Haley) mega-donor Reid Hoffman

– Democrats created a law (The Adult Survivors Act in 2022) to enable her lawsuit to proceed

– Her accusation is the exact plotline of an episode of Law & Order (one of her “favorite shows”) – Trump’s Apprentice was also one of her favorite shows – She has a history of falsely accusing men of r*pe, including Les Moonves

– She told Anderson Cooper, “most people think of r*pe as being sexy. Think of the fantasies.”

– She made a career promoting promiscuity, even writing glowingly of sexual assault and naming her cat Vagina.

– How many other high profile trials are you aware of where the defendant is not allowed to present exculpable evidence or testimony?

The Store.

Anyone who has been to Bergdorf Goodman knows you don’t wander around the store for long on you own. This store is for the rich, actually for the very rich and the rich like to be well attended. And so they are. The store? A setting for numerous films where glamor reigns.

If there is any argument as to why the sexual assault charges against Trump, given by someone who is selling a book, is not true, the scene of the crime may reveal it all.

The Ultimate Party | Bergdorf Goodman. This is not Walmart.

 

The idea that some male, as well known as Trump, even back in the day, would be wandering around, by himself, on his own in area of the the ladies dressing room is simply absurd. There would be other salespeople, salespeople attending customers, attending the so called victim. Salespeople in attendance, exchanging clothes tried on. As if Bergdorf would ever leave the women’s dressing area unattended for the very CHI CHI “The Ladies Who Lunch.” titled women.

No salesperson witnessed nor heard anything, no complaints at the time made to anyone associated with the store by the victim. Nothing to the police, then, 25 to 35 years later when she couldn’t remember the exact year or month the incident took place, only then she claims it took place.
