Ammo Vending Machines hit Grocery Stores

It’s a Sunday. You need ammo. Now you can go down to your neighborhood supermarket and take care of business along with your bread, milk and eggs. AI helping the vending machines to approve purchasers. It’s all coming to your town soon to help you out. The joy of living in a red state…

Here tis:

American Rounds installed AI-powered ammunition vending machines in several Alabama and Oklahoma supermarket stores. These vending machines are said to feature built-in AI technology, card scanning capability, and facial recognition software to verify that buyers are 21 or older and match the identity on the license.

“Our automated ammo dispensers are accessible 24/7, ensuring that you can buy ammunition on your own schedule, free from the constraints of store hours and long lines,” American Rounds notes on its website.

American Rounds shows six supermarkets, including two Fresh Value stores in Alabama and four Super C Mart stores in Oklahoma, have these new retail automated ammo dispensers.

Israelis Were Defenseless Against the Terrorists Because of Gun Control

Israeli government gun control measures did not help the unarmed civilians protect themselves.

Many of us were in disbelief as we read the stories of the Israeli people hiding in their safe rooms, cowering, then slaughtered. Many paraded outside, others shot in their beds. Some kidnapped. Apparently few if any shots were fired by the Israelis. Could that be? Living right next to confirmed terrorists whose mission has been to destroy them, to kill them and wipe them off the face of the earth.

After what happened to them in Germany years ago I am shocked that Israeli citizens were not allowed to keep and bear arms.

Ukraine & now Israel. Both had disarmed populations. Never, ever, ever give up your arms. Because the government, military, and law enforcement have no duty to protect you.

Here we go with the story:

The victims called the police and military, which did not arrive on most of the bloody scenes for two hours or more.

Looking at these images of carnage, many of us have asked, why didn’t the Israelis fight back?

Many of us, myself included, assumed that with Israel being surrounded on all sides by such vicious enemies, and living in such close proximity to them, that the Israelis lived with firearms at the ready in all of their houses.

That assumption would be wrong.

According to sources, the Israeli government makes its citizens jump through so many hoops that less than 2 percent of Israeli citizens are licensed to own a pistol. And it’s virtually impossible to own a rifle. If you are among the ranks of retired military, you are allowed to own a rifle but you cannot store it in your house unless you are among the top elite commandos.

This answers the question of, why didn’t they fight back? They were left as sitting ducks by their government leaders, who are, frankly, just as corrupt as our leaders in Washington. They are not in office to protect the people. And because they are so corrupt, they fear the people. And the first order of business for a corrupt government that no longer represents the interest of the people, is to disarm the people.

You can’t trust the body politick with weapons if you’re screwing them royally through thievery disguised as heavy taxation that’s weighted against the middle and lower classes. You must disarm them. And that’s exactly what the Israeli government did to those people who were slaughtered in 29 communities over this past weekend.

Dave Kobler, a U.S. Army veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, explains — and be thankful we still have the Second Amendment in America because our corrupt politicians would love nothing better than to eliminate it and disarm us, too.

20 Armed IRS & ATF Agents Raid Gun Store & Take Customer’s Gun Purchase Records.

Twenty heavily armed federal agents pulled in behind Montana’s Highwood Creek Outfitters’ owner Tom Van Hoose as he arrived at his shop Wednesday morning, KRTV reported.

“We have a reputation of dotting all the i’s and crossing all the t’s because there’s so much legal fun to be had,” said Van Hoose. “It’s just not worth doing things that are going to get you in trouble.”

Great Falls gun shop re-opens after a visit from federal agents

The IRS CID troops took ten hours to copy the information on his computers and download his point of sale software information. But what Van Hoose says really concerns him is the fact that in addition to his accounting and sales records, the agents confiscated 13 years of 4473 forms and copied his firearm acquisition and disposition book.

Anyone who’s ever completed a 4473 form knows there’s no revenue or financial data there. That form is a record of a firearm purchase transaction used to facilitate a NICS background check and potentially trace a gun’s ownership down the road if it’s used in a crime. Gun dealers are required to keep those forms for at least 20 years.

The question then is, why would the IRS want customer transaction information? Van Hoose says the 4473 forms were not included on the list of financial records specifically listed on the warrant the IRS agents served him during the raid. Yet they took them anyway.

According to a news release from U.S. Representative Matt Rosenadale (R-MT), the IRS confiscated all the 4473 forms from the store. According to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms website, generally, the forms must be completed at licensed business premises when a firearm is transferred.

As an aside we learn this info.

So here we go….. OMB sticking their finger in gun control. Thank the House GOP. The Office of Management and Budget has provided emergency authorization to ATF to immediately use the revised Form 4473. ATF will be publishing the Revised Form for Notice and Comment Review in the coming months.

Notice Regarding Recent Changes to the ATF Form 4473

Due to new statutory requirements set forth in both the NICS Denial Notification Act and the Bipartisan Safer Community Act (BSCA), and to reflect the implementation of ATF Final Rule 2021R-05F, ATF Form 4473 has been revised.  Because the new statutory requirements are designed to enhance public safety, and to ensure compliance with these provisions and Final Rule 2021R-05F, the Office of Management and Budget has provided emergency authorization to ATF to immediately use the revised Form 4473. ATF will be publishing the Revised Form for Notice and Comment Review in the coming months.

ATF encourages all federal firearms licensees (FFLs) to begin using the Revised Form immediately. The Revised Form is available on ATF’s website, and can be downloaded and printed for immediate use. Please note that the entire Form, including instructions, must be printed, and stored together.  Hard copies of the Revised Form will be available through the ATF Distribution Center beginning February 1, 2023. The ATF eForm 4473 application is also being revised and notification will be sent when it is ready for use.

IRS agents confiscated background check forms from the store that contained sensitive personal information about all customers who ever purchased a gun at the shop. The forms do not include financial information, Rosendale said, calling the act an “egregious breach of privacy” that “showed no regard for federal law.”

The danger of federal agents taking this information was not lost on AG Knudsen, who told Breitbart News, “I spoke with the shop owner who told me that 20 heavily armed IRS agents from multiple states in our region served a warrant before his business opened.

They took dozens of boxes full of 4473s — more than a decade’s worth. This is extremely concerning because it seemingly exceeds the search warrant which limited the scope of the search to financial records. These aren’t financial records, they’re records of lawful firearm purchases. What the hell does the IRS need with 4473s? We know the ATF in Washington, DC is trying to scoop up as many of these purchase records as possible, and that’s what it looks like they’re trying to do here.”

“There is no circumstance in which 4473s would be necessary in an investigation spearheaded by the IRS,” Rosendale said in a letter addressed to ATF Director Steven Dettelbach and IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel.

WH Press Secretary: ‘Biden Is Not Interested In Hardening Schools’

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Tuesday said Joe Biden is not interested in “hardening schools” in the aftermath of the mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas.

Of course not. It’s all about the guns.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer  last week blocked passage of a GOP bill which would codify a clearinghouse of information for school safety practices into law.

Instead, the Senate is “going to vote on gun legislation,” the New York Democrat said, asserting that Americans “are tired of moments of silence, tired of the kind words offering thoughts and prayers.” Schumer said he would be open to considering Republican Senator Ron Johnson‘s Luke and Alex School Safety Act, but he wanted to first focus on proceeding with his proposed Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act. That bill, he said, “will let us take action on guns.” Source

Republicans want to pass a bill that would include measures to beef up security at schools such as single point of entry, fencing, metal detectors and armed security. Not so much the Dems.

And of course our new Press Secretary with great finesse handles the question on what the big man thinks about hardening schools. Our gift that keeps on giving. She says the quiet part out loud.

President Joe Biden’s White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said hardening schools “is not something [Biden] believes in,” during the White House press briefing

It would be nice to see the current gun laws on the book enforced….like when Hunter Biden lied on a federal form to obtain a firearm illegal.

Dan Crenshaw whines Dems tricked him, voted for Military NDAA Red Flag Law

The NDAA. It’s an enormous piece of legislation that Crenshaw didn’t take the time to read. This after he previously puts out a YouTuber on what the NDAA bill is all about.  Now he says he was tricked.  “You gotta read the damn thing Danny boy” so says Rob over at Weasel Zippers. It seems Dan has forgotten rule #1 after becoming a member of Congress.
Rule #1. The Democrats are not your friend. They will lie to you. Maybe he could spend more time on the job than being a media sensation.

Dan Crenshaw

The military court protective order provision, buried deep in HR 4350, is another example of the “red flag law” gun control measures sweeping the country. Rep. Speier said she introduced the language to help curb the skyrocketing suicide rates among active military personnel. Gun rights advocates don’t buy it and point to a slippery slope that has the potential to compromise the Fifth Amendment right that no one shall be “deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law.”

Gun Owners of America, a prominent gun-rights advocacy organization, said the language of the bill passed by the House creates a military court gun confiscation program, and that it represents a clear, “disgusting violation of the Second, Fourth, Fifth, and Fourteenth Amendment rights of our armed service personnel who offer their lives to defend those same constitutional rights every day.

“Seizing firearms first and ‘getting the Due Process later’ will never constitute sufficient Due Process, no matter how much anti-gunners may pretend it does.”

However, the fight is not over. The U.S. Senate has yet to consider their version of the NDAA, and both chambers will need to iron out any differences between their respective bills before it becomes law. NRA-ILA says it will continue to fight against the inclusion of these anti-gun provisions in the final bill.

Congress Rolls Out Gun Control legislation

Just the beginning as to what the Democrats have in mind ultimately.  Let’s see how easy the medicine goes down. Of course let’s start with the ammo and gun magazines.

A group of Democratic lawmakers in the House and the Senate on Wednesday introduced gun control legislation that would ban the sale, manufacturing, transfer, possession or importation of magazines that can hold more than 10 rounds.

The bill comes after President Biden last week called on Congress to ban “assault weapons” and “high-capacity” magazines.

Sen. Bob Menendez of New Jersey and Reps. Diana DeGette of Colorado, Ted Deutch of Florida, and Dina Titus of Nevada, rolled out the legislation Wednesday, known as the Keep Americans Safe Act.

Magazines holding more than 10 rounds were banned for 10 years under the Federal Assault Weapons Ban of 1994. “We cannot clearly credit the ban with any of the nation’s recent drop in gun violence,” the Department of Justice-funded study concluded in 2004. “Should it be renewed, the ban’s effects on gun violence are likely to be small at best and perhaps too small for reliable measurement.”

The legislation would also authorize a “high-capacity” magazine buyback program; require any “high-capacity” magazines manufactured after the bill is enacted to have a “conspicuous serial number” and date of manufacture printed on it, so that it can be identified by law enforcement; and ensure law enforcement agencies have the authority to “seize and destroy high-capacity magazines possessed illegally.”

Gun control and the Democrats destruction of wildlife conservation

What Progressives and Democratic Presidential candidates in particular are not aware is that the bulk of wildlife conservation funding comes from the sale of firearms and ammunition in the form of an excise tax.  Add to that the sale of hunting licenses as a revenue producer. Here we go:

Almost $1 billion each year goes to state wildlife and natural resource agencies courtesy of checks written by firearms, ammunition, and related manufacturers. It is the result of an 11 percent excise tax on firearms, ammunition, and related goods known as Pittman-Robertson, or the Federal Aid in Wildlife Restoration Act of 1937.

The act was originally proposed by the firearms industry and supported by conservation groups like the National Wildlife Federation. It was bipartisan. It allowed states to marshal resources needed to recover dwindling populations of animals like white tail deer, elk, turkeys, and others. Because much of the success benefited hunters, there is a false assumption: they “pay the bill” in generating the tax. While it was mostly true in 1937, now it’s mostly not.

…What they don’t understand are the demographics of today’s gun ownership. Even as hunting‘s popularity is slowly declining, sport and practical shooting are way up. By sheer numbers, more people in America are shooting now than ever, although less are hunting.

Even more telling, half of all firearms purchased are handguns. These are primarily semiautomatics, also identified as “assault weapons” in misguided legislation. Ammunition purchased to use in these guns lines up in similar fashion.

NJ Governor to sign draconian gun control executive order

The New York Times headline screams A Novel Gun Control Strategy: Pressure Banks and Retailers. Gov. Philip D. Murphy, a Democrat, wants manufacturers and sellers to take steps to keep guns from falling into the wrong hands.

Novel indeed. ‘”The plan did not include many details” so says the piece and the executive order the governor claims needs no legislative approval. The operative sentence includes “more stringent restrictions such as convictions involving domestic abuse, among other red flags.” Among other red flags?? …Another requirement “an applicant must be of “good character and good repute in the community” in which he or she lives.

History of mental illness” Who is going to be the arbiter of that one?

How is that Red Flag going in states the have implemented it? Red Flag law turns deadly – Officer kills man

FERNADALE, Md. (WJZ) — A 61-year-old man is dead after he was shot by an officer trying to enforce Maryland’s new ‘red flag’ law in Ferndale Monday morning.

Anne Arundel County Police confirmed the police-involved shooting happened in the 100 block of Linwood Avenue around 5:17 a.m.

According to police, two officers serving a new Extreme Risk Protective Order (Red Flag Law), a Maryland protective order to remove guns from a household, shot and killed the man listed on that order.

But back to the Times story:

MORRISTOWN, N.J. — New Jersey will stop doing business with gun manufacturers and retailers that fail to adopt policies that go beyond federal laws, like conducting expanded background checks, to stop guns from falling into the wrong hands, becoming the first state to take such stringent action against the firearms industry.

The state will also apply pressure on major financial institutions, seeking information from banks that do business with New Jersey about their relationships and policies involving gunmakers and sellers.

The state, which says it pays more than $1 billion in bank fees every year, could use the disclosure requirements to decide whether to continue doing business with financial firms.

…..

Several major banks have taken matters into their own hands, cutting off banking and credit card services to gun retailers and stopping the lending of money to manufacturers who do not abide by age limits and background checks.

Now New Jersey has essentially decided to make its own rules to restrict the flow of guns, and officials said they hoped it would encourage other liberal states to follow their lead.

Besides expanded background checks, the state will also not do business with retailers who do not adopt similar policies prohibiting firearm sales to those disqualified in New Jersey, which includes more stringent restrictions such as convictions involving domestic abuse, among other red flags.”

Though New Jersey already has strict rules around background checks and people who are forbidden from buying guns in the state, Mr. Murphy is seeking to expand those rules nationwide.

…..

While the plan did not include many details, officials said that within the next 30 days the state would develop policies on gun sales that would likely be shaped by measures supported by gun control groups.

These include training retail workers to detect straw purchasers and requiring sellers to keep electronic records and perform background checks for private sellers for a small fee. (sure.)

……

Mr. Murphy’s action is likely to draw strong pushback from the gun industry and its allies, who have been swift to promise bans and boycotts of companies that have instituted policies aimed at the gun industry.

“That’s something that the governor’s office has to consider,” said Alex Roubian, the president of the New Jersey Second Amendment Society, referring to the possibility of a boycott of New Jersey by firearms manufacturers. “Because if they’re going to put police officers’ lives in danger because of politics, that’s on the governor, not on the gun industry.”

……

Mr. Murphy and the governors of 11 other states, including New York and California, sent a letter on Tuesday to President Trump and Senator Mitch McConnell, the majority leader, demanding that they support universal background checks and so-called red flag laws to prevent people who pose a risk to themselves or others from buying firearms.

…..

While New Jersey has some of the country’s strictest gun control laws, Mr. Murphy’s executive order seeks to take on an issue that the state, like other states with similar laws, struggles with — stemming the flow of illegal guns into New Jersey.

FAKE NEWS:

Citing a study by the Brady Campaign, a gun control organization, the governor’s office said about 5 percent of dealers across the country were responsible for providing 90 percent of the guns used in crimes.

New Jersey’s plan requires retailers to take steps that exceed federal standards to “prevent, detect and screen for the transfer of firearms to straw purchasers or firearm traffickers.” (Ed: In other words, they will put gun dealers out of business by making it otherwise impossible to comply or prohibitively expensive and open them up to endless lawsuits.)

The governor’s office said more specifically that sellers could ensure that the name on the method of payment matched the name of a buyer; that online orders were made by the eventual gun owner; and that buyers were limited to purchasing one firearm every 30 days.

Mr. Murphy’s plan would also seek to prevent the sale of firearms to “prohibited individuals,” which as defined by New Jersey is a broad list. (Just a couple listed):

  • Is a “habitual drunkard;”
  • no permit to purchase or FPIC shall be issued where the issuance would not be in the interest of the public health, safety or welfare.
  • In addition, an applicant must be of “good character and good repute in the community” in which he or she lives.

Aside from people with a history of mental illness and those convicted of crimes related to domestic abuse, it would also include people convicted of any violent crimes and drug dealing, as well as buyers on a terrorist watch list kept by the F.B.I.

……

While Citigroup and Bank of America publicly distanced themselves from gun manufacturers last year, many other big firms did not follow suit, in part out of fear of a backlash from Trump administration regulators and conservative states.

New Jersey’s requirement that financial firms disclose their ties to gunmakers could provide the public with new and specific information that some firms have been reluctant to divulge.

Mr. Murphy is hoping that other states, particularly those with large law enforcement budgets like New York, will join his effort. Last year, Mr. Murphy and Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo of New York formed a States for Gun Safety coalition that now counts eight states and Puerto Rico as members.

……

“With this executive order, Governor Murphy is blazing a new path for states that want gun manufacturers, retailers and financial institutions to take action to help end gun violence,” said John Feinblatt, president of Everytown for Gun Safety. “And we hope to see other governors quickly follow suit.”

New Zealand buys back 10,000 ‘banned’ guns first month

This is what a knee-jerk reaction will get you to a shooting. A similar effort is working our way. You know the drill. You will read and hear “Assault Rifles” but that is the classic fake news. It is and will be most semi-automatics. They don’t even know the difference.

Following attacks on two Christchurch mosques, New Zealand’s parliament voted overwhelmingly to ban most semi-automatic weapons along with certain kinds of ammunition and large-capacity magazines.

Yes the dreaded semi-automatic. Ask any of our Presidential candidates the same question now, and I would guess few could answer what a semi is.

In simplest terms, “semi-automatic” refers to any firearm designed to fire one bullet with one trigger squeeze, then automatically reload the chamber with a cartridge from a magazine and be ready to fire again.

The term applies to a whole range of modern firearms, from hunting and target rifles all the way up to so-called black rifles that look like what a soldier would carry. Gun control arguments often focus on the black rifles, but the differences between those and any other semi-automatic rifle often are only cosmetic. Semi-automatic guns all largely operate the same way. These guns are commonly owned and include hunting rifles. Many handguns are similar.

More than 10,000 firearms were purchased by the New Zealand government in the first month of a “no questions asked” plan to buy back newly banned weapons, TheGuardian reports. New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern pushed through legislation that banned military and semi-automatic weapons after an Australian white supremacist killed 51 people in Christchurch mosques earlier this year.

Snip…

There are between 1.2 and 1.5 million now-prohibited weapons in New Zealand, according to some estimates. Gun owners have until Dec. 20 to sell back or hand in their weapons or face jail sentences of between two to five years.

Considering the current population of New Zealand is about 4,791,634 last I checked, I would say New Zealand is quickly joining it’s neighbor Australia which has banned most guns.

Australia rolled out the National Firearms Agreement, which banned the possession of automatic and semiautomatic firearms in all but “exceptional circumstances.” About 640,000 guns were surrendered through a gun buyback program and another 60,000 were turned in to authorities for free in 1996 and 1997.
