ASTTBC applicants and registrants are required to pay annual fees to maintain their registration. Fees vary according to designation and/or registration status. Below is the complete list of application, registration, renewal, and examination fees as itemized in Schedule C of ASTTBC Bylaws.
Fee Reduction & Waiver Policy
Under section 52.1 of ASTTBC Bylaws, the executive director or registrar may, in their discretion, reduce or waive a fee payable under Schedule C if satisfied that an applicant or registrant is facing undue hardship and there are extenuating circumstances that justify the reduction or waiver.
If submitting a written request to the registrar for a fee reduction or waiver request, please follow the steps as outlined below.

No refunds or credits will be granted for any portion of the above noted fees.
Pro-ration of Registration Fees
Fees will be pro-rated by dividing the annual registration fees due by 12 to determine a monthly amount and then multiplied by the number of months left remaining in the calendar year at the time of their application being approved.
Fees will be pro-rated for registrants only in the following situations:
- New applicants for practising status who have never held practising
registration in the same class of registration as they are applying;
- Former Registrants who are reinstating their registration after more than
12 months since their registration was cancelled; and
- Non-practising or retired registrants who are applying to reinstate to
practising status.
Payment of Application Fees
Registrants who apply for initial registration into a registration sub-class will pay
application fees as follows:
- The applicable initial application for registration fee which will include one
endorsement; and - An “application to add an endorsement fee” for each additional
endorsement included in the application.
