EDUCATION PROGRAM: CREATING COMPASSION

Empowering Tomorrow's Animal Advocates

At the heart of our Creating Compassion program lies a powerful mission: to create unbreakable bonds between humans and animals. We believe that compassion is not innate but learned—a concept that must be nurtured and cultivated from a young age. In our classes, children learn that animals are not so different from us—they too need food, shelter, and most importantly, love.

Interactive Sessions

Through interactive sessions with our rescued pets and hands-on activities, students delve into topics like identifying viruses and bacteria, using microscopes, understanding ultrasound and x-rays, and the importance of nutrition and positive training methods. These sessions not only educate; they also inspire future paths.

Future Vets?

Through interactions with our rescue pets and guidance from Amanda’s staff of professionals, children cultivate a deep respect for animals and have the opportunity to uncover their passion for a career in veterinary science or animal advocacy. During a full 10 hours of instruction per semester, we aim to instill a sense of compassion that lasts a lifetime.
