ActiveX_All is a Hikvision software package that installs the company’s legacy ActiveX controls used by the web interfaces of Hikvision IP cameras, DVRs, and NVRs. It enables live view, video playback, PTZ control, local recording, snapshots, and video export when accessing devices through Windows browsers that support ActiveX, most commonly Internet Explorer. The package provides the control libraries and codecs needed for H.264/H.265 streaming and browser-based device configuration.
Because ActiveX is a deprecated technology, ActiveX_All is intended for legacy Windows environments. Installation typically requires administrator privileges and may involve adjusting browser security settings. For security and compatibility, install only from trusted Hikvision sources and consider migrating to modern Hikvision clients or HTML5-based solutions where available, as Internet Explorer has been retired.
