The Yadavindra Public School Cricket Team embarked on an unforgettable cricket tour to the United Kingdom from 2–13 June 2026, providing our young cricketers from Classes VI to X with a unique blend of international sporting exposure, cultural immersion, and educational experiences.
Throughout the tour, the team competed against renowned British schools including Haileybury School, St. Benedict’s School, Eton College, and King’s College School. The students displayed exemplary sportsmanship, teamwork, and determination while gaining valuable insights into the game at an international level.
Beyond the cricket field, the students explored some of the UK's most iconic landmarks and institutions, including London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, Eton College, Wimbledon Village, and the world-famous Lord’s Cricket Ground. Exciting visits to Thorpe Park, Guildford Castle, and a traditional English willow cricket bat manufacturing facility added further excitement and learning opportunities.
A special highlight of the tour was the warm interaction with YPS alumna Ms. Neha Nakra, who met the team in London and shared words of encouragement along with thoughtful gifts and refreshments.
The tour proved to be an enriching experience that fostered personal growth, cultural awareness, independence, and lifelong friendships. It successfully combined cricketing excellence with global learning, leaving students with cherished memories and invaluable experiences.
