Event Highlights: FOUNDATION WING - ATHLETIC MEET

The Foundation wing of the Yadavindra Public School, Mohali was buzzing with energy and excitement as young athletes took center stage at the much-awaited Foundation wing Athletic Meet held from 23rd - 27th February.

 

The event was formally declared open by the Director, who marked the beginning of the meet by releasing colorful balloons into the sky, creating a joyful and festive atmosphere for the young participants. Over the five days, the tiny tots actively participated in a variety of fun-filled and age-appropriate events such as Sprint, obstacle race, balancing activities, colourfully decorated bus race and Hurdle race. The children displayed remarkable energy, confidence, and team spirit throughout the event. Teachers ensured that all activities were conducted safely and encouraged every child to participate wholeheartedly.

 

The closing ceremony was marked by a smart and colorful march past by the UKG students. The participants proudly gave a salute, adding a sense of discipline and pride to the occasion. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony where the certificates were awarded to appreciate the efforts and enthusiasm of the children.

 

The five-day Athletic Meet was a grand success, promoting physical fitness, sportsmanship, and confidence among the students, and creating joyful memories for all.
