- crazy quick turnaround on this yard sign, DC suburbs are just built different
- San Francisco makes up for being a middling-to-bad pizza city by being an absolute God-tier sandwich city.
- according to wikipedia, we know exactly one thing that will happen in the year 2029
- I only worked briefly in journalism but I know I would have been torn a new one if I tried to tell a one-sided story like this one. The bus lane citations are there for a reason! Talk to the passengers!
- i did it, i found the subdivision with the worst street name theme
- Lmao my airpods case fell out of my pocket at the beach and all of the iron (?) in the sand stuck to the magnetic parts
- “those who can afford a bicycle” is such a bizarre phrase when discussing bikes and cars — even the most expensive bikes are cheaper than almost all used cars, to say nothing of insurance, maintenance, gas, etc. This ballot measure would go beyond reversing car-free JFK by undoing the car bans along stretches of Martin Luther King Drive and Bernice Rogers Way that together form a bike and pedestrian spine along the length of Golden Gate Park. ow.ly/aF6M50JwzUk
- new google maps UI is cartographically disappointing! major local roads and limited-access highways (freeways) are basically indistinguishable.
- Probably the only one on my TL watching the CMA’s (on after Jeopardy!) and Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood did a fun little anti-Trump diddy. Sorta surprised given the venue.
- Replying to @zachheltzel and @Dave_HorwitzINT: NYC condo, night WILL MCAVOY, who just moderated the first 2020 presidential debate, wakes up in the middle of the night with a dry cough. he checks his phone, stares at it, and immediately throws it against the wall
- I love being a transportation planner but it's really unfortunate how many people in our profession are sociopaths who want to do things like demolish homes to widen a freeway in 2020.Replying to @aceckhouseFinally found the maps for the I-605 widening, and yikes that's a lot of homes being demolished in Downey. media.metro.net/projects_studi…
