That's expensive compared to my experience in 2003: I rented two rooms in Butayunja subcounty Mityana for my workers to live and store tools. The rent: 1,500/= per room. I paid 18,000/= for 6 months at once, and wait for it: the landlord applied for a job at the farm too๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Two days ago on Yusuf Lule a pickup driven by a young man was struggling to drive against oncoming traffic. I ask him "why do you drive like that?" Answer: "I am in a hurry". I thought he'd say "Rushing to diffuse a bomb at Bukoto"...we all are in a hurry please.

I was at their terminal this morning to send a parcel to Mubende. The place did not look "Ugandan" at all: too organised, and the porters did not ask for "offloading" money. I was really impressed. There was even no park access fee like at some other terminals. Keep it up Link

The target of this decision is regional integration. Swahili is widely spoken in Congo btw....the future of East Africa is in the Congo basin. We should actually rope in Congo Brazzaville and Gabon by 2030

"At Sheraton Hotel in 1975" yes. Guy's intention was to be understood regarding the venue. If he said Apollo you would all Start "where is that" Kampala International? You would think Tank hill(?). So Guy 1 Abennugu 0. Who on here would quickly figure out where "The Centre" is?

That tree is a major heritage of the Baganda. It is probably 400 years old. It is actually wrong for the custodians to ask for 500m and the #cutthedamntree like you to offer any money at all. I am of the view the road should be diverted to save it. @cpmayiga @UNRA_ED

There is a guy who was using that strategy: he spots you in your ride, learns your usual routine, then he wears his Sunday best and bang๐Ÿ˜ฉ, you rant, calm down go to the garage, and he let's you have one of his rides for the duration. He had a G-class merc...the rest is history

Anyone remember the story of a cleaner and a truck that could not go through the factory gate after assembly? Consultants and Seniors crunched numbers in vain: break the gate or dismantle the truck? Cleaner: why do you not reduce the tyre pressure a bit?
