    Wise words from Dr Foege as always- “poverty is the slavery of today” and nowhere is it so clearly depicted than the cycles of poverty caused by Neglected Tropical Diseases!

    It's been a year since that fateful day that I was rushed to hospital and diagnosed with cancer. Am thankful to all that have seen me through this journey. I have had lessons and blessings and am thankful for both. To God Be the Glory.

    It has been two years since that fateful ambulance ride which ended up with a late stage cancer diagnosis. I am thankful for every single day of the two years. I have learnt so much especially to appreciate a day at time.

    Haya yangefanyika baada ya walau siku thelathini za kutokuwa na mgonjwa hata mmoja. Je siku 30 zimepita bila mgonjwa? Kushangilia mapema kunaweza kuleta shida. Mungu ni mwema lakini pia tutumie vizuri hekima aliyotupa!
