    Just got my dissertation from the printer in prep for my defense. "A Tragedy of Catastrophic Proportions: The US and the Palestinian Nakba, 1947-1949." 559 pages of mostly never before published material showing the US knew in detail about Israel's ethnic cleansing of Palestine.

    The Senate just voted 72-11 to kill @SenSanders resolution to have the State Department report Israel's human rights abuses against Palestinians. Senators voting not to kill it: Butler, Heinrich, Hirono, Lujan, Markey, Merkley, Paul, Sanders, Van Hollen, Warren, Welch.

    Somebody please tell Matthew Miller that there is no such thing as a 'non-binding' Security Council resolution. They are binding. Israel's failure to abide by this resolution must open the door the immediate imposition of Chapter VII sanctions.

    My great-grandparents were murdered by Nazis for being Jewish. For me, as a descendant of survivors, this #HolocaustMemorialDay & every day, Never Again means that no one EVER should be brutalized, dehumanized, persecuted, & killed b/c of their identity, INCLUDING Palestinians.

    Yesterday the Israeli military killed 10 Palestinians in Jenin. Today a lone Palestinian gunman killed at least 8 Israelis in Jerusalem. This loss of life is tragic & sadly won't end until its root cause--Israel's brutal apartheid, settler-colonial rule over Palestinians--ends.

    The @StateDept admits Israel is blocking US aid from reaching starving Palestinians, a clear violation of US law (FAA, Sec. 620I) which requires the cut off of all weapons. But the Biden admin can't even be bothered to make a formal assessment that Israel's violating the law.

    Miller admits what is preventing aid getting in to Gaza:"You have...ministers in the Israeli government block the release of flour...You have seen ministers of the Israeli government supporting protests that blocked aid from going in" despite this Biden hasn't used any leverage
