the leisure sector continues to feel the pressure - it can't be right that we can eat out to help out at half price but not swim or exercise at half price - support for pools is long overdue !

- Devastated along with the rest of the swimming community at this second lockdown. The risks around pools are so low. Clubs are so responsible and sensible. Pools should stay open. @britishswimming we support @Swim_England @SwimWales @ScottishSwim - and everyone involved

- 36 years ago European 5000m champion, 36 years later still getting excited at this fabulous sport - wonder if I’ll still be the championship record holder after tonight @ECMunich2022 … Jacob Ingebrigtsen….
- 35 years European 5000m championship record holder - 13 minutes 10 seconds that still feels like yesterday!
- UK plans bid to host 2029 World Championships - now that would be fun !
- We all understand the pressure society is under but sport and physical activity are key to our health and well-being- pools and leisure centres should remain open for all our sakes
- What is so frustrating about the current situation is how hard we have worked across the swimming community to provide a safe and progressive return to swimming not just for the elite but also the wider sport - thx so much for all the hard work #OpenOurPools
