    I’VE HAD ENOUGH! I simply don’t get why pools aren’t opening. If you can have your hair cut, sit in a park with mates, shop, attend protests, why not WITH SENSIBLE RULES, 2 or 3 per lane? Stagger “go-times”. Shower at home if its that. Mental & physical health issue. COME ON!

    Have to be honest … It’s tough to argue it’s fair! And if there was a cat in hell’s chance of a woman transitioning to a man and achieving the same … but there’s not. Never. Ever. Am FULLY supportive of diversity and inclusion, but am afraid this one is wrong.

    Why, as a nation, don’t we collectively applaud @BenProud so much more … I’ll never know. Double World, Double Commonwealth and now European Champion, all within 12 months. Any sportsperson ever done that set in one year? He’s awesome. And as World Champ, FASTEST HUMAN IN WATER

    Fantastic to see the GOLD MEDAL WINNING men’s 4x200 freestyle relay team saluting the immense contribution of ⁦@CalumJarvis⁩ who swam the heats and made sure Duncan Scott could rest for the final … and boy did it pay dividends! OLYMPIC CHAMPIONS!

    OMG .... WHAT JUST HAPPENED Team Great Britain just won GOLD in the men’s 4x100 Medley Relay. ⁦@lukegreenbank97⁩ 53.95 back, ⁦@adam_peaty⁩ 57.20 breast, ⁦@Jimbob95goon⁩ 50.81 fly and an UTTERLY PHENOMINAL 46.14 anchor by ⁦@Dunks_Scott⁩ WORLD CHAMPIONS😁

    Caleb Dressel’s vertical jump is 33cm HIGHER than the average NBA player, his at 104cm versus 71cm for the average professional basketball player in America. Practices in dry land training and every day in his pool training! 😳

    Not sure what a swimmer must do to make the #SPOTY short list, if in 1 year winning:- World title: AND Commonwealth title: AND European title … fastest swimmer on the planet … is not enough. Some great sportspeople in this years list but none bettered @BenProud results 🤷‍♂️

    Utterly brutal … Great Britain’s @hector_pardoe had to withdraw from the men’s Olympic Marathon Swim (10k Open Water) very close to the end after receiving a forearm smash to the eye socket! Nasty … especially considering he had swimming goggles on! Great effort up ‘til then!

    Very sadly, @BBCSport and @WorldAquatics has not been able to reach financial agreement to show the World Swimming Championships on free-to-air TV in Britain, so the BBC will not be covering it this year. Incredibly disappointing for the sport we love.
