🚧 🙋🏾‍♀️🙋🏾‍♀️begins! Defining the problem>>adopting a solution.👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾 it is. Nullifying, ignoring or complacency to its reality only perpetuates it. How can our programs do/be better? @UTSW_Surgery #surgerytabletalks #sharethemicnowmed #MedTwitter #DiversityAndInclusion

Let's talk - day #2 . Literature has characterized the problem for decades, but tangible change is built on action beginning with RECRUITMENT. Zoom interviews may change landscape - but the principles remain the same(!thread!) - 👇👇#MedTwitter #SharetheMicNow #surgerytabletalks

Your applicants DO care about the make up of your program and they are more likely to go to your program if they see others like look like them (plug: similar dynamic for your patients too - diversity is important!)
