    Last night, our amazing chiefs graduated from @UTSW_Surgery via @zoom_us. It’s hard to imagine what is normally a 200 person celebration condensed down to a virtual, more isolating experience. Thankfully, @JohnCMcGinley brought us joy, humor, and some #scrubs wisdom.

    For the majority of surgery residents, working through a pandemic without our usual social outlets has been extremely challenging- now imagine adding the ABSITE. When @UTSW_Surgery says wellness for residents matters- it MATTERS. That’s why for us the ABSITE is optional this year

    Dear surgery residents. I am sorry.This time of the year ALWAYS SUCKED. While the rest of the world is celebrating, u r studying for the #ABSITE. This year, add a pandemic, new roles, new rules and no control. Sometimes the world forgets you are human too. Reach out if I can help
