    Repeat after me: 1. Jaundice is a surgical disease until proven otherwise. 2. Surgical disease does not mean surgery is necessary or sufficient, it means a surgeon should be involved in the decision making early to help guide workup and management.

    Agree @mj_pucci. Gross Anatomy is one of the most important classes we take in med school. Fewer schools are using cadavers and I think this has impacted medical education in a negative way. I learned so much from those who made the sacrifice.

    Excited to announce that after 2 years of planning, our hepatic artery infusion pump program will be going live April 2022 @UHhospitals @UHSurgOncology . We’ll offer this option to certain patients with metastatic colon cancer and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma. @InteraOncology

    I spend the necessary amount of time with each patient. Sometimes it’s 5 minutes, sometimes it’s more than 1 hour. I hope you never need the hour and get 5 minutes.

    100 pancreatectomies at Atrium Health - Cabarrus. Great team effort from OR staff, clinic staff, residents, fellows, APPs, referring physicians, GI, IR, and medical oncology 🙏🏻. @JMillerOcuin bought me a cake, and I need a haircut. @mkatzmd look closely, blue loops are for you 😉

    Happy to share that our hepatic artery infusion pump program @UHhospitals @UHSurgOncology is active. We placed the 1st FDA-approved @InteraOncology #Intera3000 pump in Ohio! We’ll offer this therapy to patients with metastatic colorectal cancer and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma
