    Glad we made the effort! Yesterday morning we went up and did a maintenance check and prepped the Osprey webcam…..yesterday evening a Raven came and hid x 2 chocolate bonbons in there!! 😂 @DorsetBirdClub @ChrisGPackham @RaptorPersScot @timmackrill @OspreyEurope @BirdGuides

    I swear this is nothing to do with us….but remember the Raven that last month was ‘taking the biscuit’ by hiding 2 Bourbons in an Osprey nest. Well…now he’s ‘taking the doughnut’. Where is it getting this stuff from? 😂 @ChrisGPackham @Bournemouthecho @MeganMcCubbin

    It’s actually happened. Osprey chick ‘5H1’ fledged at 11:54 this AM, flying over the nest site for 15 minutes before landing expertly next to her Dad, quickly followed by CJ7 who chaperoned during her first flight . A magic moment @DorsetBirdClub @ChrisGPackham @MeganMcCubbin

    Magic moment this AM when our male Osprey 022 and an un-ringed Osprey landed on the nest cam just after 7am. Male 022 is back 16 days earlier than last year! @DorsetBirdClub @timmackrill @RoyDennisWF

    The Poole Harbour Osprey chicks have been ringed. Both were in great condition. Ring numbers officially 5H1 and 5H2. Both seem to be female. @DorsetBirdClub @timmackrill @RoyDennisWF @royhdennis @OspreyEurope @ChrisGPackham @MeganMcCubbin

    THE 1ST OSPREY EGG HAS HATCHED!! Amazing to see CJ7 moving this half-egg shell around the nest, confirming what we'd all been hoping! All eyes now on the next feed to see whether they offer any tiny pieces of fish down into the egg cup... @timmackrill @RoyDennisWF @ChrisGPackham

    More good news. We’re pretty sure egg number two hatched this morning. Male 022 is doing a great job so far providing regular fish, and CJ7 has mastered her feeding technique. Just magic @DorsetBirdClub @ChrisGPackham @MeganMcCubbin
