    I've been overwhelmed at all the comments about #autumnwatch & the BBC's decision to axe it this year. Goes to show how treasured the Watches are. Of course it's disappointing,but let's focus on the positives, @BBCSpringwatch is not far away &we'll work hard to make it a corker💚

    It’s been a sad week.We had to say goodbye to this gorgeous boy, Timmy.Out of the blue, he collapsed.The vet found a burst tumour in his spleen & an aggressive cancer called Hemangiosarcoma which had spread. At breakfast he was fine, by lunch we had put him to sleep. We’re 💔 🐾

    It’s been 10yrs since I had breast cancer & a double mastectomy.Since then I’ve learnt to love my scars. But that has taken time. 2day on @BBCMorningLive I’m doing a piece about body acceptance after cancer treatment. I hope it gives inspiration to anyone on the cancer journey💛

    I am so proud of @ChrisGPackham CBE! So deserved.I have watched my friend grow from an angry punk rocker into a tireless campaigner and fighter for wildlife and the environment. I know he will not use honour to be even more vocal.(but thank goodness I don’t have to call him sir!)

    Well here's something to make you laugh on a Friday eve!Wide Awake Club late 1988! I was 22 singing Puff the Magic Dragon with James Baker on guitar & @TimmyMallett adding anarchy. So sweet,so innocent,so 1980s children's telly &so hilarious looking back on it! Oh what fun we had

    He may be celebrating his 70th but he’s got the energy of a 30 yr old!! Happy 70th to my wonderful & utterly brilliant friend Timmy. What an inspiration with his cycling, his painting, his curiosity, his endless energy. What a legend &what fun we had last night💛🥳💛🥳

    On beaches all over the world you’ll find bloody plastic water bottles. In countries where you can drink tap water, there’s no excuse. Fill up a reusable bottle. It’s an easy difference that we can all make.

    Tonight feels like we’ve all come to the end of that book that was always on our bedside table. We all read the chapters, some were good, some sad, some full of drama, some surprising. We all loved that book and although we’re sad the book has ended, it was the end we hoped for.

    What Are We What Are We? We’re 40yrs old!Well we’re not obvs, but the WAC is, it started in 1984! Can you believe it! And @TimmyMallett & I are still utterly brilliant friends!Hope this brings back happy memories for all that are old enough to remember the days of Sat morning tv!
