    Wow, China just killed their gaming industry. Overnight the value of the industry tanked $80B, with Tencent representing $50B of that lost value. Well... on the brightside, Tencent wont be buying up every single western developer anymore.

    My dream is this game comes out and the gaming world is permanently convinced/tricked into removing attack buttons and we have an era of bumpslash mechanics. That or more game musicians start putting shoegaze in their overworld songs. Or going to clubs
    Testing out how exploration will work for the overworld! Nothing like a little jumping..

    in an adventure game if every screen embodies whatever mode of interaction you picked, its easy to weave a storybook feel even with really simple vignettes. adventure games are like writing through level design..
