Great interview with Kevin de Bruyne in the @guardian - this on learning languages resonates. @michaelslav

Proud and a little embarrassed given the many, many great teachers and leaders who deserve awards. This is recognition for the hard work of @reachfeltham's students, families, staff & governors. Looking forward to the next chapter in Feltham. Thanks for the kind words.

Special morning celebrating the GCSE results of our very first cohort of @reachfeltham reception pupils. Remember their first day in 2012 like it was yesterday! So proud of them all!

Good to hear @BBCr4today taking the school funding crisis seriously. @miss_mcinerney & @JustineGreening laying out the issues. Frankly terrifying situation for school leaders, making an already difficult job much harder. Urgent action needed, as @MoreMorrow has been saying

Successfully locked the school without (seemingly) setting off the alarm. Win.

This topic keeps coming up in discussion. Don't think it is realistic for children to self manage online - think we need to seriously consider severely limited access until 14 or 16. In 20 years we are going to be mortified about what we are currently exposing our children to

A thread about how our work at Reach is deepening and broadening. We have developed our Cradle to Career model in Feltham and are seeking to scale that model beyond Feltham. We have a new website at reach-c2c.org

This resonates. I ❤️ @TeachFirst. Got me into this work. Gave me great friends and amazing colleagues. Part of something bigger internationally too with @TeachForAll. Has given me purpose - why my whole working life, inside and outside schools, has been about education.
@TeachFirst is more than the route I took into teaching, it is 🟠my network 🟡part of my identity 🟢the reason why I am a governor 🔵why, & how, I started @FlexTeachTalent 🟣why I “see” educational disadvantage & support organisations working to address it

Looking forward to working with Tom, Natasha and the whole OAT team alongside my work at Reach. I am looking forward to meeting colleagues and visiting schools around the country. On my way to Birmingham for my first day!
I'm pleased to welcome @NatashaRancins and @edvainker to the executive team at @OrmistonAcads today. Excited about 2024 and how we can achieve more together as a trust in service of children.
