New post just out: "Race to the bottom" Falling immigration is pushing the right to further extremes as they try to keep the issue in the spotlight. I look at how they're doing it and argue it's a strategy that will ultimately fail. (£/free trial)

It's kind of incredible that Barack Obama can be one of the best political speakers we've seen this century and still not be the best speaker in his own family.

You literally announced a bill to make smoking completely illegal a few months ago?!
Today’s news is more evidence that Labour hates freedom. This isn’t about people’s health. It’s about social control.

So jealous of the election official who got to turn Johnson away for having no ID. The joy that would swell in your soul when you realised he had none.

At this rate the Ukrainian farmers union are going to have the 6th or 7th biggest army in the world.
Watching videos of Ukrainian farmers stealing Russian military equipment worth tens of millions of pounds - in this case a Tor-M2 SAM system - will absolutely never get old.👇🇺🇦

I guess a lot of Brits are seeing Zelensky in the first time in this role of heroic war leader and don't realise he's a comedy actor by trade. He won the Presidency after appearing for 6 years as the fictional President in a TV show.

There was a 93 year old lady at the polling station. Registered blind. In a very loud voice she said "how do I vote against beergate!" Everyone cheered.

Number of students currently studying architecture, building, planning and engineering = 245,395 Number currently studying "Harry Potter Studies" = 0
    Replying to @AdamBienkov
"The current system would rather our young people get a degree in Harry Potter studies, than in construction," says Higher Education Minister Andrea Jenkyns, who says that universities are feeding students "a diet of critical race theory, anti British history and Social Marxism."

Whichever librarian managed to get not just the "The Twits" but also "Betrayed"; "Resistance" and "Fahrenheit 451" in the shot behind Johnson has my admiration.
Got to be the worst politicians Zoom bookshelves ever. Except what's that in the top, right hand corner, "The Twits". School librarian has a sense of humour.

Dear BBC news programmes - this man no longer leads a party, isn't a MP, and no one cares what he thinks. Please stop inviting him on.
