My little girl, who we adopted all those years ago, who we were told may never attend mainstream school, who was plonked on the SEN table because, well because she was adopted, got her degree result today. It’s a First. Never give up. Never give in. Never say never.

Here’s what children need to “catch up”. They need: - More libraries - More swimming pools - More school playing fields - More Sure Start centres - More space at home to work You know, all the thing Tories have been voting to take away from them these past 11 years.

The Chancellor:- “Cutting inflation from 10% to 5% puts 5 pence in every pound back in your pocket”. Yes, he really said this. The chancellor. Of the Exchequer. Him. 🤡

Does it become a safeguarding issue when a headteacher, who has very clear duties under Prevent, spends time on social media fluffing up right wing thugs?

I’ve posted a picture of my classroom before the lockdown and a picture after so you can see all the changes that have been made to ensure the room is more Covid secure. I’m sure you’ll agree that the changes made are representative of most classrooms.

School for 150 which currently has just 40 students. Apparently this is all the fault of a government that has yet to be elected. These people are an embarrassment to themselves.

Got to be the worst politicians Zoom bookshelves ever. Except what's that in the top, right hand corner, "The Twits". School librarian has a sense of humour.

I’ve worn a mask in school since this began. When out of my classroom I always wear it. When circulating among students in the class I wear it. In recent weeks I’ve worn it most of the day. At no time has a single student said “Could you repeat that sir, I couldn’t hear you”.

    Replying to @miconm
Fri 13th- Incident occurs Sat 14th- parent calls The Sun Mon 16th- parent speaks to school to get information about the incident. Teacher completely railroaded. I mean, I’m a bit of a teachers duty of care Nazi, but I think the trust forgot their duty of care to the teacher.

Remember, Tories are prepared to spend:- ▪️£600,000 to send each asylum seeker to Rwanda. ▪️£120 on each school pupil for Covid catch up learning.

Perfect conjunction. Ofsted are looking for work. Their 1200 people will mostly already be DBS checked. They’re trained at inspecting things. Give them the swabs and let them get on with it.

It takes a special kind of thick to look at the difference in life chances between your average state school kids and your average Elton kid and believe the difference between them is a grade C at GCSE Latin.
