- Interesting day at the 8th Special Commission - CRC OPIC decision on Hague Convention Abduction discussed for the first time at a Special Commission meeting, the jurisprudence was welcomed by First Secretary, Philip Lotriet.
- The Chairs of the Treaty Bodies met with the Secretary General today. We discussed the impact of the UN liquidity crisis on the integrity and effectiveness of the UN human rights system.
