- Getting the campaign off to a start in Inverness today……
- 9,000 letters to 90% of postal voters in Inverness, Skye and West Ross-shire hand delivered this week. Thanks to the 100+ volunteers. Feeling good
- I pledge to fight for all in the Highlands to bring powers and funding here. After 17 years of SNP control we need a change.
- So Ian Blackford is going to stand for Ross, Skye and Lochaber (and Inverness) after all! Excellent news, bring it on.
- Lots of posts about how the SNP are rising in the polls. Real results can be seen in the council by elections and the SNP have been creamed in most. Recently in Fort William the LibDems got 59% and SNP only 25%. Where was their volunteer base everyone asked!
- Good to see such strong cross party support to pursuade Labour to drop the two child policy. LibDems strongly behind SNP amendment. Alistair Carmichael and I weren’t able to be at Westminster to vote unfortunately.
- All diamonds up and all fliers delivered in Inverness, Skye and West Ross-shire. Good work team. Phase two to start tomorrow
- At the LibDem conference. Once again I am reminded why the LD’s represent rural Scotland so well, at a time when the SNP, Labour and Tories are so Holyrood and Westminster focussed. Powers and budgets must be decentralised!
- I am proud to be backing @wendychambLD 's motion in support of WASPI Women and their fight for a fair deal 🐝 I'm pleased that Liberal Democrats have been leading the way on this issue in Parliament. 🔶
