This may sound silly, but even when walking, I feel uneasy seeing the 20mph signs plastered everywhere. It feels like it's a way for the new urbanists to remind us commoners that they're in charge, akin to when dictators do the same with their symbols.

- It should be law that if a listed building is not taken care of properly, ownership is automatically transferred to the local authority with no compensation.
- Replying to @metecoban92Hypocrisy is hypocrisy, no amount of whataboutism is going to change that. Now sit back and let karma do its thing.
- Replying to @JohnJohnStewart"Under powers fom the Traffic Management Act, the government could ultimately take control of an authority's roads where they are deemed to be widely mismanaged" This can't happen soon enough. It's insane how a small number of ideologues can easily destroy the road network.
- Replying to @jonburkeUKIt's disappointing that you keep on refusing to acknowledge the opposition to LTNs that comes from people without cars and regular public transport users. You can add "stubborn" to the list.
- Replying to @CouncillorsuzieThank you Susan. Hopefully London can finally have its first female mayor, and more importantly, a mayor who's empathetic and listens to the people he's meant to serve. We haven't had that yet.
- Replying to @willnormanTerrible. Whiston Road has been turned into a death trap by the London Fields LTN. Cycling incidents have quadrupled, @hackneycouncil must suspend it ASAP and investigate better alternatives.
- Replying to @Bikery1966If you are "intimidated" by other vehicles maybe you shouldn't be on the road
- We desperately need to reverse the current course of action. A fast and reliable bus service is paramount to encouraging people to use thair cars less. The @MayorofLondon's plan to dismantle the bus priority network and reduce speeds does the opposite.
- Replying to @ReconnectingOx and @LabourOxonAre people still claiming it's a conspiracy theory? We seriously need to curb local authorities' powers.
- Replying to @ediz1975If only he put that energy into pulling up his trousers
- Replying to @WateryLn @MayorofLondon and 6 othersIt's no surprise that this is happening, when THIS is the current situation on many bus corridors, which have had their bus lanes removed and extra vehicular traffic displaced from nearby roads in the name of "active travel".Replying to @ms_not_miss @apchara and @Wheels4WellBus lanes have been reduced by misguided green policy. On Saturday it took 2 hours for my bus to travel 3 miles from Surrey Quays to Lewisham. Politicians serious about net zero should reward public transport users with faster journeys. Instead they slow our buses 🤷♀️
- Replying to @TheFox89688362Still waiting for the bedding period to end on the London Fields LTN. Been over 3 years.
