- Today, the Dept of Economics at @TAMU is profiling Prof Jennifer Doleac @jenniferdoleac, whose research interests focus on the economics of crime. Dr Doleac earned her BA in economics and math at @williamsecon and her PhD at @Stanford. She joined @TAMUECON in 2018. 1/5

- Three of our faculty were honored at the 2023 Southern Economic Association meeting: Prof @eckelcc and Prof Tom Saving were named Distinguished Fellows of the SEA, and Prof Jonathan Meer won the Kenneth G Elzinga Distinguished Teaching Award.
- This past Friday and Saturday, we hosted a Public & Labor Economics Workshop, organized by Prof. Jonathan Meer. The workshop featured star junior faculty working on a number of policy-relevant topics.
