Replying to @NoContextBrits and @duolingo
Worse is @duolingoUK ‘s insistence on using American in the courses. Occasionally I’ve got a question wrong because Duolingo asked me to type a translation in English & considers the English response incorrect, or there is some American terminology I’ve never heard.
