- Just a reminder that 69% of SFUSD parents polled are voting yes on the recall, much higher than the rest of the city. It's easy to dismiss this election as "just politics" if your children didn't miss an entire year of school.

- 🚨BREAKING! Mayor @LondonBreed announces that 3 public school parents will join the @SFUnified school board: Ann Hsu, Lainie Motamedi, & Lisa Weissman-Ward. 👏 We are so excited to hear more about their plans for a better SFUSD & eager to work with them to put students first.
- Many of our families are finding out that, due to teacher health exceptions, their K-2 students are going to be taught remotely via screens while a sub "supervises" the classroom. This is not in-person school. These are children as young as 5. This is unacceptable.

- LAUSD summer school wrapped up a couple weeks ago. Of 44,000 students and staff, there were 174 student covid cases, 93% of which were contracted outside of school. There only 12 potential instances of in-class transmission out of >40,000 kids. SFUSD enrolls 53,000."Officials found no cause for alarm regarding the summer school infections.
