    At Penn Station last night, MTA police officers caught two men who were wanted in connection with threats to the Jewish community. We are thankful for the quick work of the two officers and the successful collaboration between our City, State and federal partners.

    We mourn the loss of @FDNY EMS Lieutenant Alison Russo-Elling,  tragically murdered on duty in Astoria today. She was a 25 year veteran of FDNY, 9/11 first responder,  The Jewish Community stands shoulder to shoulder with the @FDNY in mourning the tragic loss of a true hero #RIP
    We lost a hero today. Alison Russo-Elling was a 25 year veteran of FDNY EMS. She was murdered on duty in an unprovoked attack. Her assailant is in custody. Lt. Russo-Elling gave so much for our city. Please keep her family and the FDNY in your prayers tonight.
