Why is an NYPD Chief doing interviews in uniform at a Trump political rally for a conservative outlet?
This politicization of the NYPD undermines the credibility of the department.
Congresswoman - I organized dozens of people to knock on thousands of doors for you last year.
You don’t need to support Zohran - but don’t lie about his positions and inaccurately vilify him.
Do better.
I love CitiBike, but costs of e-bike rides have skyrocketed to up to $10 per ride. I’m introducing a bill to cap e-bike rides at the cost of a subway fare.
Bike share is an essential part of transit in NYC. It needs to be affordable & accessible for all.

The new Open Restaurant program has dismantled 90% of roadway dining in NYC.
Data is clear - the new approach is too costly and bureaucratic for restaurants to make work.
It’s time to restore Outdoor Dining and a more dynamic streetscape for all of us to enjoy.
Exclu!
Over 44% of New York City restaurant operators said in a poll released Wednesday that they wouldn’t offer outdoor dining because of soaring government fees and a confusing application process.

This is disgraceful.
The Mayor refuses to condemn:
- end of birthright citizenship
- insurrection on Jan 6
- dropping out of global Paris climate agreement
This is anathema to New York City values.
Eric Adams is no Democrat. He cares about nothing more than his pardon.
.@nycmayor will not say if agrees or disagrees with Trump's executive orders to pardon Jan6 rioters, to withdraw from Paris Agreement or to end birthright citizenship. Adams says executive orders are about "the balance of power" says if he disagrees he'll let Trump know directly
There is zero evidence that conducting subway bag checks advances public safety.
Instead of wastefully deploying 750 national guard troops, I wish the Governor did something helpful - like fund 750 safe haven shelter beds to move homeless people from the subways into housing.
New: Gov. Hochul announces that she is deploying 750 National Guard members into the NYC subways to conduct bag checks, in addition to another 250 law enforcement members. She is also proposing a bill to ban people convicted of a violent crime on the subway from public transit
The Mayor must resign.
No Mayor can serve our city under criminal indictment. The only responsible course for New York City is for Mayor Eric Adams to step down.
If he refuses, he must be removed from office as prescribed by the charter. New Yorkers deserve so much better.
The Adams administration has officially decimated outdoor dining.
Only 1 of 10 restaurants citywide has decided to keep roadway dining.
Our city sadly prioritized parking a car or two on the street over a vibrant streetscape & more space for us to enjoy NYC’s great restaurants.
Per @NYC_DOT the final numbers on outdoor dining applications:
3,226 License Applications
2,592 Restaurants
1,277 Sidewalk-only
681 Roadway-only
634 Both Sidewalk and roadway

Cuomo, talking to conservative radio host Sid Rosenberg this morning:
"God forbid, another 9/11—can you imagine Mamdani in the seat?" Cuomo asks.
"He'd be cheering," Rosenberg says.
Cuomo paused and chuckled before saying: "That's another problem."
Despite days of warnings that smoke from Canada wildfires would make its way here to NYC, the City issued limited public statements or guidance yesterday. 🧵
Congestion pricing is the right policy for NYC and provides essential funding for buses and subways.
After so many years of advocacy and planning - any delay is outrageous.
