- Haircut was $23.00. I like to give at least a $5 tip (my haircuts take about 10 minutes). I had $27 in my wallet or a $100 bill. So I hand her the $100 so that I can make change for her tip. She says “I can’t break that. Bank is closed tomorrow.” Ok, I give her the $27. She
- My kids are going to miss 4 days of school for an upcoming vacation. Booking flights 4 days later to match their school’s vacation was going to cost me $7,000 more. Easy decision.It’s 2025 and I actually have parents trying to defend pulling their child out of school for a vacation. I get a death. I get granny is turning 100 and lives out of state. But to get a cheaper vacation- nope. Can’t ever support that.

- This is the World Trade Center building in Dallas. One of 3 buildings that comprise the Dallas Market Center. It’s essentially a giant shopping mall, except all the prices are wholesale and it’s not open to the public. Only registered retail buyers can attend.
