- Some of you know this but my wife, Jennifer, was diagnosed recently with Thyroid cancer. We're set for surgery in the morning and God willing, tomorrow will be a good day. Thanks for your prayers. Looking forward to being back on the show soon to deliver good news.
- If you can, stop and pray for my friend David Johnson @Rebels247 . He had a bad night and is in a tough place with this virus, and needs your prayers. He’s a great guy, great dad, and has felt it was his responsibility to fight some of this publicly for you. Pray for him.
- Thanks for your prayers. God is good whether we get good or bad news, but we had great news today. What tested as cancer last month came back benign today after they removed it, & they only had to remove part of her thyroid, not all of it. - Jerrion Ealy with an #UAALLAMERICA game record 116 yards rushing on 14 carries, 2TD’s. Ten MS kids in this game, wow. Ealy, Brandon Turnage, Nakobe Dean, Dannis Jackson, Jarrian Jones, Nathan Pickering, Derick Hall, De’Monte Russell and Charles Moore.
- I know he’s 5’7 but someone with some guts (coulda used another word) will be rewarded for offering Pearl’s Tylan Knight. One of the MVP’s today.
- How about this. @thereal_cam3 vs @WillieG___ in their last regular season HS game, 2016. Cam ran for 206yds/3TD. Willie ran for 246yds/4TD. Cam also threw a couple TD's as Clinton beat Starkville 35-28. Now 2nd round @NFL picks for the @RamsNFL and @Chiefs. Awesome.
- Malcolm Hartzog @iammalcolmhart1 was Mr. Football in 3A. Didn't hear much in cruit'n til the end, commits to Nebraska last week, leads all tacklers today with 9 (8 solo) and a pick.
- This is awesome and another reason high school football is so great. That's a kid on the winning team consoling a player who just lost. Winning a state championship is huge but losing them is just brutal.
- Very difficult the way he was thrown into last night, but hard not to see the talent Keytaon Thompson has. Over 300 yards of offense, 121 on the ground. Gave'em a chance late.
- Awesome comments from Gardner Minshew on Mike Leach. A lot of great stories this week about Coach Leach’s life. Gardner is cut from a similar cloth if you’ve ever been around him. Just real people who relate to others and comfortable being themselves.
