    Tonight I'll be in my usual seat in the VHS press box to watch Ole Miss battle Bama. It is the 5-month anniversary of my release from the hospital. The photo is the day doctors told my family I had would die in a matter of hours. No matter the odds, anything is possible with God.

    Today is the day the music died. RIP Eddie Van Halen. When I was a teenager in the 80s, every kid in the neighborhood wanted the Sears replica model of EVH's ax and David Lee Roth's luck with girls... No one will ever duplicate his sound. #RIPEVH

    I was discharged from Baptist Hospital Oxford today after having triple bypass surgery last Wednesday. Sill hurts like hell. Thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff for all they have done. Thanks to God for His blessings. I hope to be back in a limited capacity tomorrow.

    OK. I was and remain all in for women participating in college football. But the SEC naming Vandy's Sarah Fuller as co-special teams player of the week for her kickoff that traveled 30 yards cheapens her accomplishment. It has become PC PR for the SEC at this point. #QuitIt
