Today was the most amazing day of my life. I married my best friend. I will never forget it for as long as I shall live and am so thankful for all of you for being a part of it. Here’s to our lives together as Donoho’s 😊.
Tonight is for Jake Mangum.
For Thunder & Lightning.
For Ron Polk & John Cohen.
For the ‘85 Dawgs.
For the CWS teams.
For Rooker, Big Hit Mac, Hendo, Rednecks playing ball…
For Dudy Noble.
But most especially, for every person who calls themselves a Bulldog.
National. Champions.
By far the most emotional moment was shared with Jake Mangum & Gary Henderson. Jake was full-on sobbing as his coach embraced him following the team huddle.
"We're going to Omaha!" as Jake said through the tears.
Elijah MacNamee in the locker room after tonight’s loss: “We will be back here in Omaha next year & we will win a National Championship for Mississippi State. Mark my words.”
Dan Mullen on December 16, 2014 when asked about his DC Geoff Collins going to Florida: “I don’t like anyone leaving for what I would view a lateral move.”
If you’re a Mississippi voter, I would take a good hard look at those 34 no votes on the flag in the MS House of Representatives and find out if they’re in your district + if they align with your beliefs and values in this state. For me, that’s a significant concern.
Mississippi State has now defeated Louisville in the postseason playing:
Football
Men's Basketball
Women's Basketball
A pleasure doing business with you, Cardinals.
This.
This is how much tonight's game meant to MSU.
Nick Fitzgerald with tears in his eyes singing the alma mater & an emotional embrace with Mark McLaurin & Gabe Myles.
When we interviewed @Elijahm_2 after being eliminated in Omaha last season in 2018, he made this guarantee. A stone cold lock. I didn't doubt him. No one else should have. The Dawgs are back in Omaha for 2019 and they are ready to do the dang thing. #OmaDawgs
