Good grief. I went to the Wednesday of the Festival with my grandpa aged 10yo onwards. This would definitely have meant I stayed at home & may never have fallen in love with the sport or perhaps not to the same degree. I had not realised this was the modern policy. Terrible idea.
Bringing two of my kids this year aged 8 & 10 presumed like most events in an outdoor venue kids under 12 would be free . Will bring the entry cost to 522euro a day for a family of four before accommodation and travel from ireland @CheltenhamRaces
