- How has being rude/bombastic/unkind morphed so readily into “telling it like it is.” Because, mostly, you’re not telling it like it is, you’re just goading/provoking/offending one group so you can bask in the approval of another.
- The sun sets on a glorious career - next stop #LuckonSunday for @_Davy_Russel_ - see you all in the morning 9am @RacingTV
- Life without John McCririck will be far less interesting - he was a magnificent journalist first and a great showman. So often very kind to me and many, many others. Thinking of Jenny today x
- Cape Gentleman this morning after successful surgery on injured tendon. He will recuperate in 🇮🇪 before retiring with his new owner in 🇺🇸
- Had unforeseen surgery last week & sadly will be out of action for @EpsomRacecourse, the Belmont and the start of the new season of @LuckOnSunday - feeling good, though, and will be back soon. Thanks to the brilliant surgeons and nursing team at @KingstonHospNHS
- Just incomprehensible how somebody so kind should face such cruelty - all our love is with John @huntycaller

- This interview shows why - even if you didn’t get the story you might have wanted - this was a great result for racing, in more than one way.Did Emmet McNamara really believe he could win the @Investec Derby on Serpentine? "Probably for myself, no. But Aidan O'Brien instilled that confidence in me. He said to me: 'Emmet, this horse could win the Derby." #InvestecDerbyDay @EpsomRacecourse
00:00 - Enable joins a fine list of great mares to have been kept in training as six year olds: Dahlia Triptych Winx Azeri Zenyatta Makybe Diva Snow Fairy (though didn’t run) Black Caviar Beholder A decent group
- I’m in Dubai, so treat this how you like, but I can’t be having all the snark about Thunder Snow. He might not be an all time great, but he’s got a hell of a CV, can do things 99.9% of horses can’t dream of, and is deeply admired by one of the worlds best riders. He’ll do for me.
